   La Cucina Piccola is outstanding, as always. One of our very favorite restaurants in the entire area. Excellent, innovative cuisine; knowledgeable and friendly service; very comfortable and warm decor; large portions; modest prices; free parking in the strip mall parking lot. We frequently order the specials since they are so interesting. Today we started with a ceasar salad off the regular menu - one of the best around - and then ordered a special - pappardelle with scallops and shrimp in a saffron and light tomato sauce. If you see something on the menu that interests you, go for it. We've always been very pleased no matter what we order. The wait staff and chef are great at understanding and meeting specific dietary needs. About reservations - NEEDED. Again, NEEDED. Especially on a Friday-Saturday. We regularly see folks walk in without one and find that all tables are booked.

   At 5:45 there was one other table taken and 1 woman’s voice was so loud that we couldn’t hear ourselves speak and didn’t want to hear her personal issues and asked her to lower her voice.
