For Valentine’s Day, we are offering a special prix-fixe menu at $95 per person. You can see the menu in the appropriate section.

We welcome our guests to an authentic Italian restaurant: here we offer traditional cuisine, with a modern take on northern and southern Italian recipes. Mauro, the chef, and his wife Tina, have an huge amount of experience behind them.
Mauro is from Naples, Tina was born in a little sicilian town near by Enna.
He began to learn everything about the southern cuisine by his experience in Naples since he was a child, from “Polipetti alla Luciana” to “Paccheri ai frutti di mare”. Furthermore he moved in Milan and he had the chance to learn the northern cuisine, from “Risotto ai funghi porcini” to “Polenta grigliata”, one of his favourite specialties!
From an ancient sicilian tradition, Tina learnt everything about the desserts by her grandmother and her mother, from “Millefoglie” to “Cannoli cake”.

Tina is amazing you feel like you’re dinning with family she is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and personable. The service is on point….The food is fresh ,delicious, even the choices of wines are amazing.. From the fresh homemade bread to the fresh homemade pasta, the Off The hook desserts all fresh ingredients..Our friends brought us there, and it was a little gem of a restaurant to find.

From the greeting at the door by owner Tina to her chef husband Mauro’s knowledge, skill and ability in the kitchen our party of 8 were delighted with this experience. Highly recommend La Dolce Vita ( The Sweet Life)

Excellent as always. Unpretentious, authentic, friendly and delicious. The entrees are consistently perfect, whether made with the homemade pasta or protein-centric. Save room for one of Tina's homemeade desserts. Tried the Ricotta Pie, amazingly light and yummy.

This Italian restaurant is a true gem in the famous dining city of Sarasota! My wife and I love dining here! The food is authentic Italian, the service is wonderful, and even the ownership makes personal appearances at the tables to check on the quality of food and dining satisfaction. It’s a must dine!
