This is a gem of a place. Had a business colleague in from Detroit and he said it was the best veal he's ever had. I agree. Service is great, good selection from the bar, really good garlic bread, and love the house dressing on the salad. Mains are always good...

Made a reservation for a nice table since it was a 20th anniversary celebration. We are not from the area and couldn't get away so we wanted a nice place with Italian food. Through the reservation I asked for a nice table but when we got there it took a bit for the hostess to greet us and then she immediately grabbed two menus without asking us if we had reservations. I had to tell her that we did and that I asked for a decent table. Nope. The atmosphere was really loud and I wear hearing aids so it was very difficult for me. It took quite a while to get a waiter, and a long time in between drinks and courses but the food was very good. Our waitress (owner?) was pleasant when she finally showed up. It was weird, the hostess kept running back and forth in front of us, and the bread boy was just sauntering. All in all the staff seemed disjointed and other waitresses were picking up the slack for others? Not really sure if they were understaffed but the food was really good and I probably will go back but not for a special dinner, more likely for a leisurely lunch. If you have the time to spend there and don't have hearing issues this is your place.

Micky is outstanding. Food is original and flavorful. They don’t rush out courses, it’s a perfect pace. Will definitely be back

What a fabulous gem! We had been looking for an Italian restaurant that was not a chain, and La Gondola far exceeded our expectations! True family Italian cooking! And that bread! Excellent wine list, as well!

This is our favorite Italian restaurant in all of the Metroplex. Our fav used to be the Italian Villa in Arlington, and it closed. We just found out that one of the owners, the chef, opened La Gondola after Italian Villa closed, so we are/were SO excited! Highly recommend.

This is a hidden "treasure" we stumbled onto several years ago. The food is always excellent and the service is perfect. Ambiance is just right. All in all, a great dining experience! Our friends loved it too!
