Excellent service—James was superb. Thank you for the anniversary macaroons! Food—yummy. Too noisy, though. Especially with the Sweet 16 crowd arriving after we did.

I really like places like this when they are honest. You won’t get much from me if you offer me something and don’t say it’s an up charge. 5 bucks that’s cool. But a $20.00 up charge with out mentioning it… not cool. Food took too long for a non busy brunch. Waiter was a bit over the top.

Service was knowledgeable and professional Jose knew the menu and wine by the glass list well He was generous with his wine samples and that helped me find a suitable wine. I’ll definitely come back

The hostess was very kind and sat us right away. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. The waiter’s assistant was also very attentive and kept refreshing our water. The soufflé was excellent, the snails were good, however, the truffle mushroom risotto on the specialty menu was dissatisfactory.

The escargot was superb. The tryout almondine excellent although it was drowning in butter sauce. If I ordered it again, I’d ask them to minimize. The service was good, but not to the level I expected.

Great experience here. Jose was helpful and knowledgeable of the menu. We had salad, branzino, scallops, bread pudding, and a few drinks. Everything was very well done with a little twist to make it unique. It was lively inside but we were still able to comfortably have a conversation. Will definitely be back. Thank you Jose!

The very tight tables were acceptable as there was not a big lunch crowd, but I can’t imagine if it was a full dining room. Large portions - the Nicoise salad was delicious

Every time we dine at La Goulue in PB, we enjoy the cheerful and attentive service. Food was wonderful as always. The cheese soufflé and chocolate mousse were our more decadent faves this time!
