Housed in Chicago’s Belle Époque building, the unique Art Nouveau-inspired space honors the iconic building’s legacy while providing guests with a one-of-a-kind atmosphere and menu. La Grande Boucherie blends the ambiance of an indulgent steakhouse with a refined Parisian brasserie charm, and fuses traditional French cuisine with Chicago’s River North culinary heritage. The two-story restaurant boasts custom curved stained-glass windows overlooking the bustling streets of Chicago. The interior features custom mosaic marble floors, authentic fixtures, and a racetrack bar sourced from France. Guests can lean into the view and take in all that Chicago has to offer.

We enjoyed a nice business dinner. The restaurant is beautiful. It was a long wait for the food to come out but tolerable.

Stepping into LA Grande Boucherie feels like stopping into a bistro in Paris. The decor is beautiful. The food is excellent. We had the foil gras mousse to start, and even our non fois gras diner enjoyed it. The steak frites were perfectly prepared to order (one rare one medium). The duck was also prepared to medium rare as requested. The maple sauce served with the duck was a nice complement and not too sweet. Bottles of wine are 1/2 price in March, which was an added bonus. Our waiter Rashid was knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. Great dining experience.

If you're looking for a nice French bistro menu in a lovely room, this is your place. Chef Michael has put together a fine selection of moderately priced selections for just about every appetite. Portions are ample in today's micro entree restaurant environment. It can be a bit noisy, as the bar takes up most of the space. The staff is friendly and professional. I think it's a lot experience for the buck these days with prices on the rise.

Server Cristina was aloof and tended to our table with bad attitude. The dining room was half empty and yet she was not interested in providing an attentive service. Lacking service experience for a restaurant this caliber

Don't miss this restaurant. One of the best burgers and fries i have had in a longtime. We will be back for sure.

It was st Patrick’s day so maybe this is why it’s so noisy. I tried the oysters and the caviar. The blinis were too seasoned it overpowered the caviar and the oysters were full of shells. It’s ok but not the quality i was looking for.
