Located at 699 14th Street on the coveted corner of 14th and G Street NW, La Grande Boucherie is situated on the most high-profile street in Washington D.C., just one block away from the White House. The restaurant is built in elegant and ornamental Art Nouveau style, evoking the sense of optimism from the turn of the 20th century. The brasserie’s menu features both classic and modern French dishes, with focus on the meat program, raw bar and extravagant large-format meats, ideal for sharing and celebrating. Mahogany wood and glass partitions divide the gargantuan space to create intimate dining experiences. These pieces are adorned in gilded accents and uniquely curved arches inspired by the 20th-century Art Nouveau movement of Paris. The main dining room highlights a massive curved bar with a metal top imported from Paris, a signature piece of Boucherie.

                      The moment we walked into La Grande Boucherie DC we felt welcomed. The hostess at the entrance shared a little about the beautiful venue before seating us. PRETTY COOL BAR! Our waiter, Steven welcomed us again before introducing himself. His attention made our visit special, as well as the overall staff. We ordered the lobster bisque and the pear salad, the salmon and the steak frites and shared a cheesecake for dessert. We certainly enjoyed our food and dining experience. La Grande Boucherie in NY had already made a good impression on us when we organized a large gathering with family and friends. We appreciate Filip at the hospitaity team, Steven in DC and Izzetin in NYC. Thank you!

                      We had a great time and the food was delicious. Our waiter was awesome. But made sure you get there 15- 20 minutes before your reservation time. Because they’re really busy and don’t play around with the 15 minute grace period. Overall it was a great experience.

                      Classy restaurant. Loved the ambiance. The food was great and the service was excellent. Definitely worth going back!

                      Great experience!! La Grande Boucherie DC exceeded my expectations. The place is beautiful, the food was amazing, and the service was impeccable. Perfect for a special dinner or just enjoying great food in an elegant atmosphere. I will definitely be back!

                      It is beautiful and the service was good although we felt a bit rushed through our meal. The food was fairly bland and we were not impressed. We would not go back.

                      We were seated immediately. Our server was on point and very attentive. The lobster bisque was rich and the Steak frites was tasty. My son enjoyed the salmon roti and my partner loved his filet mignon. Next time i will get a dessert.

                      We were sat in a corner with no view. The whole dinner we were just staring at other tables because that’s how we were faced. My wife got the burger and was less than impressed. I got the beef bourguignon. While one piece was very tender the rest of the beef was overcooked. The only redeeming qualities were the French fries I substituted for, the drinks, and our server who was very good and attentive. However, we likely won’t be going back

                      My husband and I were seated at a two person table with three tables in one row. The seats were so crammed with the back of the chairs bumping into the chair from the table behind me. The couple at the table behind me even asked to be moved to a different table. Along with our wine, we had ordered the ribeye (medium rare) and filet mignon (medium) and brussel sprouts. The ribeye was as flat as a pancake with no marble. It was supposed to be served with root vegetables but was served with broccolini. My medium filet came out medium rare but the more I had cut into it, it was rare. My experience at the NYC location was amazjng which brought us to the DC location to celebrate Valentine’s Day on Saturday 2/15. The food and service was terrible. The only thing good was the wine, brussel sprouts, and ambience. I would not recommend this place. At least, not the DC location. We’ve already shared our experience we friends.
