Located at 699 14th Street on the coveted corner of 14th and G Street NW, La Grande Boucherie is situated on the most high-profile street in Washington D.C., just one block away from the White House. The restaurant is built in elegant and ornamental Art Nouveau style, evoking the sense of optimism from the turn of the 20th century. The brasserie’s menu features both classic and modern French dishes, with focus on the meat program, raw bar and extravagant large-format meats, ideal for sharing and celebrating. Mahogany wood and glass partitions divide the gargantuan space to create intimate dining experiences. These pieces are adorned in gilded accents and uniquely curved arches inspired by the 20th-century Art Nouveau movement of Paris. The main dining room highlights a massive curved bar with a metal top imported from Paris, a signature piece of Boucherie.

                      My wife and I celebrated her birthday there, it was phenomenal. It began with our waitress Bolade who wad magnificent and extended to everyone we met. It extended all the way up to the general manager Kerry Macphail, who came out to personally greet and acknowledge us on this momentous occasion. The ambiance and food quality are exceptional and add to the refinement and elegance of the entire experience. For a great meal, wonderful company and a truly memorable experience (aside from being the lucky husband), you must check out La Grande Boucherie, it is unforgettable.

                      Had a wonderful time, the waiter was fantastic. Made chocolate milk for my daughter at the table. She loved the show. Food was great, music choice was superb “Frank Sinatra and like Christmas music. Decorations were beautiful and tasteful.

                      We went to La Grande Boucherie in DC for brunch in December. Wonderfully decorated for the holidays. The food was great and we had an awesome server. Couldn’t have asked for a better Sunday afternoon

                      Our evening was amazing. Started with oysters an pear salad. Had scallops that were amazing. Cheesecake for desert. Service was so good. Stephanie the host needs to be in a higher position. She made everything perfect!!

                      The restaurant is gorgeous and beautifully decorated for the holidays. Our waiter was VERY attentive but the food was not good at all. For the price I expected our steaks to be amazing and they were not. Charred, thin and overcooked. Very disappointing. My recommendation is save yourself money and go for drinks/appetizer and enjoy the atmosphere.

                      Beautiful restaurant, delicious food and great service by Emily!! First time visiting, but will now be my go-to for drinks/dinner and special occasions.

                      One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. From not finding my reservation and trying to seat us back by the service station, to our waiter asking “why are you here?” And admitting Le Diplomate was a better French restaurant choice, to getting our food and it being mediocre at best. Do not let the dazzling interior fool you, this place is NOT worth it!

                      First experience here and the steak was well below the price value. Tasteless and untenderize. Seemed like I was eating a steak from Applebee’s. Do not recommend the steak at all minimum.

                      Over priced for sure! The waitress had zero customer service skills and it was very slow, however a fellow waiter Owen stepped in and was amazing. The food was basic and not great. It is really not worth the price.
