With a dazzling dining gallery featuring 40’ glass ceilings, this one-of-a-kind brasserie is built in the tradition of the Belle Epoque, inspired by elegant and ornamental Art Nouveau style. The menu features French classics and timeless bistro favorites, with a focus on prime cuts and an in-house meat program. In addition to an extensive wine list and classic cocktails, La Grande Boucherie also features an inspired menu of absinthe-driven signature drinks.

Absolutely delicious. Every bite. Excellent service, beautiful decorations. We had varying ages, including a toddler, teen, preteen and adults. Everyone enjoyed their food - French toast, steak and eggs, lobster bisque, drinks.

This is part of our yearly Christmas tradition. Brunch here and then the Rockettes at Radio City. It is the most gorgeous place and the food is amazing. The wait staff are top professionals with a wonderful way with my grandkids: 8,9,10 and 11 and excellent service. The libations are to die for and the location is perfect. It even has a huge Christmas tree in the entry. It is worth the price for a very special experience.

I really would not recommend this place. I was really looking forward to coming here on our Christmas in New York City weekend. The place is very pretty and we arrived 10 minutes before our reservation at 8:50 am, which is also 10 minutes before they open. We went to the hostess stand where there were 2 male employees discussing something. They ignored us entirely as we stood there. It wouldn’t have killed them to smile and say that they can help us when they open in 10 minutes. Then at 5 minutes to 9:00 the hostess approached the stand and abruptly told us to go wait in another area before the open. When I didn’t go all the way over there she became upset with me and asked me to stand behind a certain line. I couldn’t believe the way we were being treated and we hadn’t even stepped into the place yet. Perhaps they wanted to be authentically French and treat us as the French treat American tourists. At 9:01 that same hostess finally acknowledged us and we were seated. The positives are that the place is really very beautiful and the food was delicious. The negatives (besides that first encounter) were that they didn’t have decaf coffee, we were very cold the whole time even though we weren’t by a door or a window, they don’t have waffles or pancakes which are popular dishes for kids, and when we asked the waitress’ advice about whether my 2 kids could share the french toast she made it seem like it wasn’t enough to share but it was a lot of food so we felt ill-advised.

It was an amazing experience! The restaurant was extremely busy at around 8 pm on a Friday night but our server was extremely attentive and made great recommendations. Their bottle of Riesling was phenomenal and the bartender made us a mexican carajillo for dessert. 10/10 our favorite French restaurant!

If you’re looking for an intimate experience than this certainly isn’t it. This is one huge restaurant that can seat hundreds of people at a time. So whilst the food is good, it’s not going to be a fine dining experience. We had to queue to get seated. It was impossible to get a pre-dinner drink. It was so busy that it felt slightly out of control. But somehow the food all came as ordered. My steak was slightly overcooked, but understandable given the number of dishes that needed to come out of the kitchen. Still unsure how they did it. The pricing is quite high, considering the experience, and therefore unsure I’ll be rushing back.

Excellent food and service. Festive ambiance. Canard prociutto and steak tartar are a must. Sophia had on point recommendations and cocktails were delicious.

The food was quite underwhelming, honestly comparable to Chili’s, the atmosphere is the best part and the drinks and bread were pretty good.
