Delicious as always. Great menu and the food never disappoints. Service was exceptional. One of my favorite restaurants in Houston. Whether dining on the patio, the bar or the main dining room the ambiance is inviting and upscale.

Service was very slow. It appeared that one waiter was covering the entire dining room. He wasn't very attentive. Cocktails were made well, and of good size. We ordered two appetizers: the Hamachi crudo and the taleggio cuscini. We didn't care for either one. My husband had the lobster bisque and said it was the best he had ever had. My daughter and I had the pasta alla ruota which is served tableside and was absolutely delicious. We were celebrating my daughter's birthday, and I told them in my reservation that I was bringing in a custom cake. They called me 2 hours prior to arrival and said they saw that we were having a birthday celebration and told us they don't allow outside cakes. Kind of irritated me that they didn't say something two weeks ago so we could have made reservations somewhere else. They did not offer a birthday dessert either. Not sure if we will go back.

Appealing patio & interior. Excluding the veal, which was mediocre, the food was great. Aside from the hostess, the staff was nice. We had multiple waiters. The service was POORLY coordinated (possible new hire training?) & unprofessional, chatting while we experienced huge delays between courses and service in general & had to ask 3 times for water. Even after explaining our time sensitive schedule, we had such a long wait for the requested dessert menu presentation, that we had to forgo the course. (Was not a busy period, so no good reason for these problems .)

Took my spouse here for his birthday and it was amazing. Kid friendly. The staff were so polite and very helpful with their suggestions. Definitely will be going again.

La Griglia - A Dining Experience to Remember! From the moment we walked into La Griglia, we knew we were in for something special. The service was impeccable—attentive, warm, and perfectly timed without being intrusive. The highlight of the night was, without a doubt, the tableside preparation of the fettuccine in the giant Parmesan cheese wheel. Watching our server masterfully work the dish was mesmerizing—a true culinary performance! He let his hands do the talking, effortlessly blending the pasta with the rich, creamy sauce and the decadent touch of truffles. Each bite was pure indulgence, packed with bold flavors and the perfect balance of creaminess and umami from the Parmesan. From start to finish, La Griglia delivers an unforgettable dining experience. If you're looking for exceptional Italian cuisine, flawless service, and a bit of tableside magic, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!

Incredible service and food. Loved the old Nino's but this is an amazing update. Prices mean this will be a special occasion place. Enjoyed Sinatra but wish it wasn't quite so loud. Will be back to sit outside at the garden next door.

Very disappointed - and unfortunately, after being a regular for over 20 years - we won’t return. While the new location is fantastic (dined 3 or 4 times since the move), and the restaurant inside and outside is gorgeous, that’s where it ends. The service and the food was mediocre this final visit. We waited nearly 30 minutes to receive our first cocktail, the primi (a rigatoni) was tasty but barely warm, the porkchop was tough as nails, and the polenta was salty and flavorless simultaneously and near inedible. Why not complain? That would have required a server to come to the table and ask us about our meal - when the dishes were cleared with majority of the food remained on the plate and zero questions, it was a clear lost cause. Not worth anything they could have said or done about a terrible experience. Hence, our business will go to dozens of other quality and service focused restaurants that are paying attention to what matters most for a good customer experience.
