La Griglia continues its tradition of a true Houston staple at our new address, 2817 W Dallas Street. La Griglia’s menu is a blend of signature dishes with new creations featuring simple, uncomplicated ingredients elegantly presented. A significant portion of our exceptional ingredients are sourced from Italy and act as inspiration for the new offerings. With a striking, modern look and feel, La Griglia features sleek finishes such as marble and brass juxtaposed by the warmth of supple leathers and crisp white tablecloths. The restaurant includes an intimate main dining room, a wine room, and an expansive courtyard and bar for dining and cocktails, allowing for guests to experience a range of environments based on the occasion.

As a courtesy to all our guests, we maintain a business casual dress code. No beachwear, gym attire, hats, baseball caps, shorts, flip flops, or athletic apparel is allowed. Admittance is at the discretion of management.

    The service was cordial at our late lunch, but agonizingly slow. I guess it's better than getting rushed out of the door, but would have appreciated more attention up front.

    The food was good but the service was not good. The restaurant was not very busy but there were long waits throughout the meal and items that were ordered that never showed up. We will not go back.

    It was a great experience. I made the reservation for my parents for their 40th wedding anniversary. My dad said it was the best old fashioned he had ever had and the food was delicious. The only comment I have was I made the reservation in the main dining or standard area and called to let them know it was a special night for them and they were sat in the bar area so I was very disappointed and sad but they enjoyed it.

    For my first time going I had a nice experience, food was really good and service was great as well. This restuarant has class and I'll definetely be coming back.

    Came for the fruitti de mare. It was okay. I was surprised it wasn’t in a white wine sauce. Regardless I’ve tried many seafood dishes and this was just mediocre at best. The bread never showed up until late. For restaurant is beautiful, the service was attentive, and the experience was definitely for fine dining. But for the price and food and amount it was mediocre at best. Have had better food elsewhere.

    Very nice, old school restaurant. We had Caesar salad, fig salad, flounder and mushroom lasagna. The Caesar lacked the flavor of anchovies and garlic. Pretty bland. The flounder was very over-cooked and we couldn’t even eat it. The wait staff didn’t acknowledge the fact we left it on the plate. The mushroom lasagna was okay but still lacked seasoning. Not a great dining value for the price. I’ll think twice before considering it again.

    What a great experience we had dining at LaGriglia last night with friends !! Our menu choices were perfectly prepared, the wait staff was friendly & engaging, and the heated patio ambience was delightful with temps outside in the 40s it was cozy while dining!! Will return soon!!
