What a beautiful setting. We were sitting outside on the terrace and it was just magical. We came in daylight and left after dark and both settings were amazing. The kids loved watching the huge fish and turtles in the river. The food which was traditional Mexican was good but not amazing but they had a kids menu which was a plus. I recommend La Laguna but like all restaurants at Fairmont it's on the pricey side.

This restaurant overall was amazing . The food was fantastic. From the time we waited for our table in the quaint bar area to the beautiful appointed table on the water the experience was beautiful. Roberto the server had great suggestions that were spot on. We look forward to our next visit.

El servicio es PÉSIMO y es una pena porque el lugar es bonito, los meseros son distraídos, se la pasan platicando entre ellos y te ignoran cuando necesitas algo. La comida es muy buena, pero es uno de los pocos lugares en mayakoba donde las porciones son miserables y sientes que es abusivo el precio por lo que te sirven. Llama antes de ir si reservaste por OpenTable porque no generan tu acceso en la entrada y vas a batallar para accesar al complejo.

Desde que llegamos nos hicieron esperar en la caseta de la entrada porque no tenían nuestra reserva, luego nos guiaron mal hacia el restaurante y nos perdieron, la comida está sobrevalorada, quien realmente conoce la comida mexicana esperará mucho más de lo que ahí ofrecen, el supervisor Cristian Luna del restaurante fue grosero al hacerle una petición a mi esposo. En si, el lugar es muy bonito, pero la comida nos quedó a deber demasiado :(

Magical. Fantastic service from Ian and the setting was beautiful, right on the Laguna. Excellent food quality and selection. A very memorable evening!

Beautiful experience and food. The patio seating on the lagoon is amazing and the turtles made it even better My man loved his steak tacos and I have the vegan special which was delicious! Our waitress was wonderful as well We will be back!

We really enjoyed this restaurant on the lagoon. We happened to catch a fancy buffet filled with delicious food and drinks included. It was a fun night and would highly recommend.
