When you are seeking authentic Italian cuisine there is not a comparable restaurant in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area. La Locanda Ristorante Italiano offers a quiet setting where you can enjoy intimate moments with friends and family. We offer semi private dining and a charming bar area, where guest can enjoy a glass of wine and an antipasto. We offer happy hour Monday - Friday from 4:30pm - 6pm in the bar. Featuring a selection of small bites, select wines by the glass $5, $2 off cocktails & amp; beer.

This is a restaurant where everyone is treated like family. Our menu is simple and direct, offering fresh original recipes from the North regions of Italy. Pasta is freshly made in house topped with mouthwatering recipes. The wine and cocktail lists offers a range for every palate and budget. Hearty, flavorful entree includes meats and seafood selections. Salad are comprised of fresh organic local ingredients. We pride our self of a prompt, friendly and relaxed service

Passable Italian restaurant but nothing spectacular. Dishes weren't necessarily authentic Italian but more so someone's interpretation of authentic Italian. But they were tasty and overall the experience was fine.

We couldn’t get a reservation anywhere near old town Scottsdale. We found this restaurant and they had availability. Overall, it was fine. The food was decent and the ambience was fine. It didn’t stand out, by any means. I wouldn’t hesitate to go again if I couldn’t get in somewhere else, but I would probably choose something different if I had more options. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves.

Had an excellent dinner at La Locanda, family-feel Italian place in old town. We enjoyed the spicy mussels, buffalo mozzarella, pasta Russo and chicken parm.

My first time at the restaurant, I had the beet salad, (out of if this world!!! )My salmon dinner was awesome as well! Loved it. Great service. I will definitely be back.

Was in from out of town and met a friend for dinner here. Heard it was recommended highly. I didn’t understand the thrill. Food was fine. Nothing excited. Steak was way undercooked. Service was rushed and inconsistent. Noise was absurdly loud, so made talking at dinner very difficult. So many good places around town, so I won’t be back.

I was excited to celebrate my birthday here, and while they did acknowledge the occasion, the overall experience fell short of expectations. The service was underwhelming, I did not like our server, and nothing really stood out to make the celebration feel special. The food was average at best — I’ve definitely had better Italian cuisine and service elsewhere. Unfortunately, this place didn’t leave a lasting impression, and I wouldn’t personally recommend it.

Very authentic Italian food. They are very accommodating changing ingredients for personal tastes! Love this restaurant!
