This is not Mexican food. This place makes a poor attempt at making Mexican food fancy or upscale. It's a joke. Puerto Rican yum yum sauce is squirted on everything you order. I'm just not a fan of mayonnaise mixed with ketchup. I don’t know how that is considered Mexican food. I don’t mind paying a high price for quality, but this just isn't it. I always gladly tip at least 30-40%, even if the food is bad because it's not the servers fault. But when an establishment decides to add an automatic tip to my bill, I make it a point to only tip what is on the bill since they have already decided what they deserve.

The staff were spaced out were not as attentive and it was not packed. Had to constantly ask for things so staff were not providing the average service that I have received in the past. Needed silver ware, had to ask for a glass for my drink, had to ask for salsa for my tacos. Things that are pretty normal. Great food!! But service was lacking

Absolutely loved the entire experience! The service, the food, the atmosphere was amazing! The ONLY reason why my overall experience is 4 stars is because of the parking. There is NO close parking. We had to walk several blocks, after locating a park.

Our party arrived at our reservation time and the hostess look annoyed and grumpy. She clearly had an issue with finding a table for us, but wouldn’t make eye contact or tell us what was going on and left us standing there awkwardly. Finally she said, “I have a party of 8 coming in,” as if this was an explanation. Then she seated 5 of us at a 4 top. She squeezed 3 chairs at a side meant for 2 people. It was impossible for anyone to sit there. Then she looked annoyed when I said that it was a 4 top. She was rude and dismissive and finally a person in our party put one of the chairs on the table end where, though he was in the aisle, at least he fit at the table. The hostess treated us as if we had done something wrong but all we did was show up at our reservation time. The food came. The mussels were tough and overcooked. My husband’s chicken tacos were dry. My friend’s pork was over cooked. The drinks were good, but after that experience, I won’t be back for a second try.

Attended the Drag Brunch and had a festive FUN time! Food was a bit expensive and they automatically add 20% gratuity to bill, because of the special event but worth it for the show…great show and music! Excellent service!!!

Service wasn’t too great and we my party of 2 got kicked out after 2 hours. Didn’t appreciate that after still finishing my drink.

Always a great time at La Luna. Went for my birthday and our server was so nice to bring a shot out with a creative flame as a candle. Delicious food!
