La Lupa is an innovative way to appreciate the taste of traditional recipes handed down from our grandmothers or from our family, elaborated with unaltered passion, and the essence of Rome, Italy. The recipes that are used to create the La Lupa brand are the result of extensive research, keeping together the methods of family tradition, the discovery of secret ingredients and of each cooks own personal methods.

    La Lupa never disappoints from service to the most amazing choices in appetizers, entrees and dessert’s……they’ve become our go to for any night out or celebration….thank you to all the staff….you are truly amazing!!! ❤️

    We were a group of seven and our server was ver friendly and accommodating. Food was fantastic and large portions. Stuffed squash leaves were amazing as was broccoli rabe and mussels. Our meals were even more delicious if that is possible. We had various dishes including veal, eggplant, pasta and chicken. Everyone was more than satisfied. Arturo is an awesome chef. Love this place.

    The food is always exceptional and despite the busy holiday season, the service was prompt, efficient and friendly. Combined with the extra large portions (always more than you can eat) this restaurant is outstanding in all the ways that count. That’s why we go back again and again. All around, an exceptional value.

    My third time there and still love it. Definitely becoming one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Connecticut

    Several tables had customers with no food in sight. After 30 minutes without even a glass of water, we went left and went somewhere else. Unfortunately we will not be returning.

    I am hoping this was just an off night as I have had many pleasant experiences here. 15 minutes to take drink order. Brought drinks 15 minutes later. Then another 30+ minutes for some other waitress to ask us if anyone took our order. She took our order. 10 minutes after that our original waiter tried to take our order. 45 minutes after that food showed up Luke warm. Was definitely not our usual great experience there.

    We all ordered veal dishes which were fantastic. Service was great. Arturo is amazing.

    This is my 4th time at this restaurant. Service was impeccable. I am disappointed in their food quality. My friend ordered a salad with grilled chicken. She got the salad, the avocado was not ripened and the grilled chicken was like the sole of a shoe. I ordered the breaded sea bass but what I got was a breaded piece of fillet that was not seabass and it tasted like it was defrosted and was freezer damaged. They serve you a lot of food and every guests ends up with leftovers. My chickens enjoyed the leftovers because I was unable to eat my meal. Did not bothered with dessert. Afraid of what I might end up with. Wish them good luck.

    The food is amazing. I hope by going to this place for five years you’re not gonna find delicious quality value food like this anywhere. The service is great. And they give you so much food!  They don’t use plates they use platters. The squash flowers are Amazing!!! I have never had a bad meal or experience at La Lupa . It’s a must and trust me you will be back.
