La Maison is an authentic French Bistro in the heart of Dublin. Specialising in classic French dishes using locally sourced and freshly prepared produce. The authenticity of La Maison begins with the artwork, works by Leonetto Cappiello, L’oir Dor, and Diable Vent, all sourced from Paris at Puces market. Doisneau photographs line the stairs offering a touch of romance to this relaxed space. On the second level the dining room is light and airy, with sash windows looking out onto the bustling Castle Market Street.

    The servers were polite, friendly, and made us feel very welcome. The restaurant had a fantastic atmosphere—great music and a perfect mood, easily a 10/10. For starters, we had the scallops and French onion soup, both of which were absolutely amazing. However, the main course was a major letdown. We ordered the €98 côte de bœuf, expecting something exceptional, but it was severely undercooked despite requesting medium rare. The flavor was also lacking, and we had to add salt just to enhance it. Honestly, I’ve made better steak at home. That said, the peppercorn sauce was excellent and one of the few redeeming aspects of the dish. I’d definitely return for the great service and atmosphere, but I’d steer clear of the steaks next time.

    Excellent experience celebrating our anniversary with complimentary bubbly on arrival. The onion soup is to die for and our main courses perfect with accompanying sautéed greens. Superb attention by all staff and the linen cloth tables and silverware makes for a fine French culinary experience with very affordable prices.

    To say our experience here was superb would be an understatement. Dined on Valentine’s Day and from the food to the service to the ambience and to the food everything was sublime. First time diner here, will definitely be back. Special shoutout to our server Fernando, truly a breath of fresh air and a very likeable personality that really shone through.

    Delicious food. We have been coming for years & it nzver disappoints. A lovely cisy atmosphere with good service. Sole for two was delicious.

    Second time here in two weeks, little gem of a restaurant with great food and great service. Will definitely be returning.

    I have been to La Maison on several occasions with friends. It always provides a good service, fresh and tasty food and good menu. Staff are very efficient, pleasant and helpful. Very little time to wait between courses which is always good. Overall a very good dining experience I would recommend this restaurant to friends and have done. Looking forward to my next visit.
