The menu is unoriginal and lacks diverse options. That wouldn’t necessarily be such a bad thing if the dishes were well prepared. However, not one of the seven dishes we ordered was any more than tolerable and most were awful. So much sugar, so much peanut sauce, no discernible chili, soggy noodles, poor quality vegetables and worse quality meat. Drinks menu is pathetic. Our server was very pleasant but the service generally was terrible. Everything came out within 10 minutes, then nothing was cleared and it took forever to get our check. I’d have much preferred In-and-Out.

Mostly bland thai food. Wasn’t as flavorful as it could have been. Green rolls and mango dessert were nice.

This was mine and my three friends first time dining at La Ong. We had a great experience! From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a warm smile and welcomed. Everything we ordered was excellent! The food, service and ambiance was all very well executed! I've recently returned from a trip to Bangkok and now I know where I can revisit a piece of it here in LA. We had the organic fresh green rolls (I need them to bottle the peanut sauce.lol), crab fried rice, sea bass southern thai curry, holy basil noodles and the dirty wagu beef! I would order everything again!

I came here based on a recommendation from a well known LA based YouTuber. The wings were interesting. They were larger than a standard buffalo wing but smaller than that of a full size chicken. The texture of the skin was a little hard and meat tough. The sea bass southern thai curry was fantastic. Five stars for that. The servers could use more training. The place had one other table occupied so I guess each of the 3 servers had a lot of free time. They each came to our table doing various things. The wing appetizer and main course came at the same time. I had a side plate for the wing bones. I asked for an additional plate in case we wanted to share food. A few minutes after the additional plate came a different server came and took away both plates. I could not stop her since my mouth was full. After we finished and the table cleared I was contemplating the mango sticky rice. Suddenly the bill was put on the table. No 'would you like dessert or anything else'. Already annoyed with what happened with the plates I paid and left.
