With a relaxed, refined atmosphere, La Palma is the perfect spot to catch up with a friend over drinks, dine with your lover for dinner, or celebrate your most special occasions with family. Chef Craig Harding's food is Italian at heart but the menu at La Palma reflects a California sensibility and remains playful, reflecting dishes and ingredients from other Mediterranean cuisines and cultures. Whether you're grabbing take-out for an impromptu picnic in the park, or enjoying a patio dinner with a view of sunlit Dundas West, La Palma has you covered.

For parties of 6-9 we strongly recommend our Family Style's Chef's Menu. This multi-course meal includes several dishes from our a la carte menu plus exclusive off-menu items--most of the dishes are served family style, as our menu was created with sharing in mind!

Enjoyed David’s service. Very attentive, good ambiance and food. The only think is…I wasn’t aware there was a coat rack people can use before coming in. Staff should do a better job of informing this. Not sure if the rules changed since I went on new year eve.

My husband and I came here for our first wedding anniversary and everything was amazing! Our server, Ellen, was super helpful with food recommendations and very friendly. Everything we got was delicious, especially the broccolini, 100 layer lasagna, and vegan gnocchi!! Would definitely come back and highly recommend to all :)

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at La Palma in Toronto. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was abysmal. It took far too long for anyone to even acknowledge our presence, and once we were seated, we had to continuously wave and seek out our waiter for attention. It was as if we were invisible. The food was equally disappointing. Every dish that came out was either bland or tasteless and incredibly small. None of the flavors were memorable, and everything arrived at room temperature — which is completely unacceptable for any restaurant, especially one that bills itself as an upscale dining experience. We asked our server if any adjustments could be made to our dishes, but they were unwilling to accommodate any requests or even offer suggestions for something different. It was as if they simply didn’t care about providing a good experience for their customers. We came here to spend our $200 Amex platinum credit and never have we struggled so much to spend $200 on a night out in Toronto in this economy. As the food was disappointing and the service abysmal, we didn’t eat much. Overall, La Palma is an absolute letdown. Mediocre to bad food, terrible service, completely over priced, and no willingness to make things right. I won’t be returning, and I’d advise others to skip it. There are far better places in Toronto that actually care about their guests.

La Palma was an absolute delight! Our party of three adults and three children was warmly welcomed, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure everyone was comfortable. The service was incredibly friendly and accommodating, especially for the kids. The food was outstanding—every dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. It’s rare to find a place that balances great food and a family-friendly atmosphere so perfectly. Highly recommend!

I visited La Palma with my mom to celebrate a birthday. We had been there a few times before and always enjoyed their delicious lamb chops, which is why we decided to return. Unfortunately, this time, our experience was ruined by a rude and uninterested waitress who made our celebration unpleasant. The waitress, who was slim with short black hair, clearly didn’t want to provide us with proper service. From the moment we sat down, it was evident that she was disinterested in serving us, especially compared to how she treated another table that arrived shortly after us. While she was friendly and attentive with the other table, she completely neglected ours, leaving us waiting multiple times, avoiding eye contact, and taking far too long to clear our plates after we had finished eating. I initially asked her for the dessert menu since we wanted a little treat for the celebration. However, she responded with clear apathy and never brought it. Instead, she spent a significant amount of time chatting with a colleague until more customers arrived. Meanwhile, we were left feeling ignored. This lack of attention and enthusiasm ruined the vibe of what was supposed to be a joyful occasion. It’s unfortunate that such poor service can overshadow the quality of the food. Experiences like this make it difficult to return, no matter how good the food is. Management should be more careful when hiring servers who represent their restaurant.

We had an incredible time at our annual friends dinner. We did the Family style diner and it did not disappoint. All the greatest food hits, cocktails on point, wine perfectly paired. Service was amazing. Another great night at La Palma

Loved the platter option for our party of five. A wonderful selection of options where everyone found a favourite dish. Very comfortable, casual vibe. Wait staff attentive and knowledgeable about menu and quantities. Would love to return in the summer months to enjoy the outdoor ambiance.
