   What a little jem in Summerville. While the menu was limited for New Year’s Eve it didn’t make a difference or disappoint, there was something for everyone and the food was amazing! We sat in one of the bubbles and we had so much fun. I want to thank our server Sam for going above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was exceptional. His sincere welcome and excellent service made all the difference. Sam understood the cuisine, made excellent suggestions, and valued guest comments. Already raved to my family and will be going again soon. Thank You and Happy New Year

   We always enjoy our visits to La Rustica. It is, by far, the best restaurant in Summerville, SC.

   Everything we ordered on the menu was delicious. We had oysters. We ordered the filet and the veal. Mouth watering . Perfection.

   La Rustica was well staffed for a busy holiday evening. Service was attentive, informed, and professional. Although they were out of a few items, everyone in our party of six found something to satisfy them. We ordered a wide variety of items, with the baked oysters and lasagna being the biggest hits. All in all, an enjoyable experience with excellent service and good food.

   The restaurant was quite busy, but our wait staff was very efficient and as attentive as possible. The food was excellent and no one in our group was dissatisfied.

   It took 35 minutes to get our bottle of champagne. Over an hour for appetizers, and over 2 hours for our food. Staff wasn’t apologetic or friendly. A waitress spilled salad dressing down my friends back into her sweater and coat and didn’t send over a manager or napkins and didn’t really seem to care. We had to ask for manager and request dry cleaning, instead of anyone trying to make it right. Great food and ambience, not worth the terrible service. Ruined our night

    I chose to celebrate my birthday with friends at this beautiful place because of the reviews. The atmosphere, the ambience, the waitress, and the delicious food just made everything come together. Can’t wait to go back.
