   V-day, so I get that it was a wild night. Betweeen course 2 and 3 took a half hour, and they make a point to tell you about the 90 minute time limit when you're seated. Sea bass was too cool, sent it to be heated up and a new one came out that was warm, but the spinach bed was now too cool. Meh, Trump 2024, right? The caviar add-on was out of this world and the truffle old-fashioned was heavenly, so my dishes were on point, but the wife's were a bit disappointing for the cost. Do love the ambiance of the place.

   Great service , kitchen was backed up a bit and our server treated us to some complimentary drinks on the house. Dessert was next level. Could have been more staff to help out the busy crew, and price was on the high side

   A delightful find. We had never dined there before. Our server, Kevin, was outstanding. The food was delicious. The place was packed, as it was Valentine's Day. The kitchen was doing its best to keep up. There was a prix-fixe meal with a couple options for each course. One could add a premium upgrade to the main course (lamb chops added $35, for example). At the time of reservation, we were told, very fairly, that we had our table for a 90 minute time slot. Our reservation was for 6:15pm. That would mean we'd be done by 7:45 p.m. It was so busy that we were still awaiting the dessert to be served at 8:40 p.m. The other point is this: if you like noisy, this is noisy. One has to lean in to hear your dinner partner speak. There was music, and the place was as packed as it could be. Perhaps on a regular week night it may have been better. The decor and service were wonderful. The food was fabulous. Again - our experience was on Valentines, and to be expected. Kevin, our server, I will mention again, was great.

   Our Valentines Dinner was amazing, La Serre has a beautiful aesthetic and the food was impeccable and impressive and the drinks were amazing as well! But the highlight was the service my girlfriend and I received when we had issues getting in due to the weather and were late for our reservation. Wendolyn was able to move things around and still get us in at the bar and made sure we still had a wonderful Valentine’s. We are incredibly appreciative and will be back, and will be telling everyone we know they need to come as well!

   This will be a restaurant I will always come back to anytime I’m in Chicago! Took my mom here and we did the Chicago restaurant week menu which featured their best sellers. Every single dish we were both like wow this is amazing!! Also the cocktails were top notch. Plus the inside of this place is just gorgeous!!! Our server was also so lovely!!! Everything was just magnificent!!!

   I absolutely loved the bar, the service, the drinks, the food, and the whole experience. I can’t wait to come back to try even more, but definitely one of the better restaurant week menus I’ve tried!

   Went for RW. Got sat 30mins past reservation time. Service/ server was great. Hits: crab croquette, tartare & chicken. Good value, good portions.

    Our party had ordered restaurant week. Honestly, one of the best restaurant week menus and values I have had in years in Chicago. I was originally going to do the regular off menu then opted for RW and glad I did. The food was fantastic. The ambiance puts you in a great mood and the service was great as well. We had added on a few additional items. The mussels are fantastic and the caviar pasta is so simple yet divine! Will definitely return.
