Made a reservation for 5 people, showed up and they were not even open!!!! Would be nice to know ahead of time, but no sign, notice or anything and ruined the night.

Overall , the service seemed to impact every part of our time . We had to wait several minutes to check in for our reservations, being told they weee “very busy “ . We waited a long time to give our order, the salad came and then they tried to serve the entrees just as we had gotten our salad. We asked them to keep it warm , well then the potatoes were not edible on my dinner , too well done. Ordered capuchino tartufuand got tiramisu. Having waited quite some time, we just had the tiramisu. Needless to say, it was disappointing.

Seated on time. Waifed 40 minutes with no water, bread or menus. I had to ask because my wife throat was dry. 50 minutes in we ordered drinks, appys and dinner. Drinks finally came and were good. Calamari came and was extremely chewy and looked like it came out of a bag, not fresh. Stuffed mushrooms came cold. Nobody enjoyed or even ate the appetizers after we tasted them. My wife and brother-in-law ordered their salads with dressing on the side. Both salads came with dressing poured over the top. The blue cheese had zero chunks of cheese and like the appetizers were not eaten. They offered to replace them but now we were there for almost two hours on Christmas Eve with one small piece of bread and were hungry and decided to wait for dinner. Another 37 minutes went by with no food so we left hungry. At times there were zero personal in our room with over 20 tables. I believe no waiter was assigned to our table. When I complained they responded they had two large parties in other rooms. I asked why that should affect our service and said that I didn’t care about their other customers because I wanted a happy Christmas Eve dinner. He giggled at us. This was the first time we decided to go out for Christmas Eve dinner as my wife usually cooks so I wanted to do something different and special. Our reservation was for 7 PM and we walked out around 10 PM hungry and very upset. They made my wife cry. We went home and ate. This was a horrible experience and will never return or forget how we were treated. I had to ask bus boys for water and better bread because no waiters ever came back to our table after we ordered an hour and a half after being seated. I have lived in the area for over 30 years and I ate at La Strada many years ago when everything was good. It’s a shame what has happened to this establishment. The final check would have been over $500 for this meal for 4 of us! Not worth the money or frustration. Stay away! I RECOMMEND NOT TO EVER EAT THERE.

Best experience we have had in years. It is always good, but this was outstanding. Service was perfect. "Jeff" and his son were so personable. As busy as they were, they treated us like family. Food was really good as well. Pricing for specials are up there, but not as high as we expected. Thank you!

The food was not good. The penne vodka tasted like plain marinara sauce. Everything was bland. The meatballs were a weird texture. We could get much better Italian food from a local pizzeria for half the price. Service was good. We will not go back.

My experience was poor in every category because the restaurant was closed. I made a reservation through open table. The reservation was confirmed the day of via text message. When I got there, the restaurant was closed. I was standing outside in 30 degree weather with my two friends. When I called the restaurant’s phone number a man answered and told me that the restaurant was closed because of new holiday hours. Apparently he was not on the same page with Open Table. He told me that I could come back a different day. I had to scramble to find another restaurant last minute. Horrible experience.

Dinners were fine. Nice that entree came with salad. Price was good. Dessert of molten lava cake was disappointing.

Excellent food and service. It has old fashioned elegance that many places have gotten away from. If you want to enjoy conversation in a quiet atmosphere this is for you!
