We made a reservation for 9pm. When we arrived a security guard stated that the restaurant was closed as they were turning it into a nightclub. I showed them the OpenTable reservation and they were not interested in honoring it. I had to wait for a manager who stated they would seat us but we would only have 30 minutes to eat. Why does an establishment partake in OpenTable if they are not going to abide by the terms of their reservations?

We arrived at the restaurant only to find out they had a private event and said we had no reservation. They didn't even know what Open Table was!

Upstairs restaurant in the heart of Old Sacramento. Menu is limited and a bit pricey for what it is. Easy to get a reservation before a performance at the rail road museum, but most likely will choose something else, next time.

I booked a select table weeks in advance, upon arrival they could not accommodate nor where near the right seating

Booked my reservation for 7:00 pm but the when arrive the restaurant was closed and did not look open for the day... no sign on the door either indicating why they were closed either.

This place is at the best location for Old Sacramento people watching as you devour (what was probably) the best salsa with chips I’ve ever had. Mango margarita was delicious, taco salad was great. I’m already planning my next visit to this place.

Food was great but the service was terrible …. We sat down at our table for 35 min and didn’t even get a cup of water. Finally I flagged down the waiter who was just walking around like nothing was going on and he said I should’ve told him earlier that we were there… like do you not have eyes to see that we were there ? It wasn’t even packed and service was still slow. We eventually ordered and we actually got our food before we even got any beverages. After we were choking on our food or drinks came after we already ate our meals so yeah definitely not going again and need I remind it was a Tuesday night.

Our reservation was at 7:30. They stuck us outside in the cold. We asked for a heat lamp and it never came. They had them but they forgot. They finally got to our order 45 minutes later after we had to go ask for service. Their excuse was there was another party that they were helping…. That is NOT a valid excuse. It wasn’t that busy. Plus for a Saturday night during a kings game nearby, they should already be prepared for serving more than 1 group of customers. Food came and it was ok. Not worth the wait. We were ignored until we had to ask. Drinks were ok. The best thing that I loved about the experience was they had a great playlist. The rest was disappointing.

Old Sac Xmas show we missed as it took about 20 mins to even get drinks, chips, salsa then dinner and other drinks took forever. The food was pretty good and our waiter was very nice but wish we picked another restaurant so we could have made it to the Xmas show.
