We enjoyed our lunch at La Tiendita. The chips, salsa, and house guac were delicious! We also enjoyed the day's special with 3 street tacos, rice, and beans.

We waited 1/2 hour for service. We were not even greeted so we left. No menus available when we got there. It wasn’t even busy. Just short staffed I guess.

Service was S L O W, almost to the point of ignoring their customers at times. Food is pretty good, but service challenges were annoying.

We couldn’t get a reservation anywhere to celebrate our FSU grad but found La Tiendita. We had a fabulous time!! Great music, friendly staff, good food. The hot sauce was awesome! No frills at all but it was so much fun. So glad our last meal in Tally was there. If you want to get away from campus and enjoy good food, this is a great place!

The food was quite good, the service was not. There was hardly anyone there and we waited quite a while for someone to show up to seat us. The food took a long time and there were no servers around to get us refills. Everyone was in back in the kitchen. We waited forever to get a check and we were not aware that we were supposed to go in back of the restaurant to pay at the cashier. One of our dishes was not brought to the table. We asked a waitress and she said it was coming, but it never did.

It was Easter Sunday. We went there because we made a late decision to eat out on Sunday and found only 4 restaurants with openings. After reading about each on Open Table, I selected La Tiendita because it had the highest ratings. (A 4.3 or 4.6.) I felt fortunate to find a restaurant rated so high w / such limited options. Sooo, when we arrived it took quite a long time to get a menu and water and service. The food was quite expensive while fillings and servings were small. Flavor was poor. Dessert Tres Leches was completely store quality w/ grocery cake sliced and grocery milk poured in. Service was poor. Salsa was awful. Very disappointing and I would never go back.
