With its cosmopolitan menu and an authentic Italian flavour, the La Trattoria is the perfect place to unwind with family and friends over a steaming bowl of pasta or one of our succulent seafood dishes. The La Trattoria is quickly becoming famous within the Illawarra as a different club dining experience, with large portion sizes of quality meals at very affordable prices. With a dedicated bar and room to comfortably seat more than 300 people, the team in the La Trattoria pride themselves on the quality of their food, cooked and served fresh by our fantastic staff.

We dined out at the Fraternity Club on Saturday night booking a little later than we usually do at 6 which in hindsight was not a good idea as it meant we had to queue to place our order and the food took twice as long to come out. Overall value and quality of food was good although I did notice they had reduced quantity of lamb on the lamb salad and a medium steak was medium rare. It was quite noisy at times with a baby screeching next to us for some time which was not pleasant.

Table booked for 6:15 and ordered our meals around 6:30 but the food didn’t arrive until nearly 8pm after approaching staff for the second time

Tonight was the first night of 2 for 1 main meals for members. We booked our table for 5:30 and so glad we did because the restaurant was booked solid and was 80% full at 5:30. Highly recommend you book in advance because it is so popular. The service from when you enter, being seated, ordering your meals and receiving them is first class. All staff are so professional, very polite, helpful and always have a smile. We both had the Scotch Fillet and both steaks were cooked exactly how they were ordered. The were so tender and full of flavor. We finished off our evening out in the club area, enjoying coffee and cake and gelato. We have no hesitation in recommending any of the eateries at the Fraternity. There is a great variety of dining areas, the food is cooked to order, the prices are great, and the staff are not only very professional but friendly and always serve with a smile. 10/10

The Food was very ordinary-we booked online but it wasn’t on their books. Seafood was overcooked and very limited in quantity. A very disappointing evening.
