   We find La Violetta is the best Italian restaurant in Sarasota and we have dined at all of them. The decor, lighting, comfort of the chairs and quick seating, service with smiles, large menu of offerings, flavors, speed, accuracy, served hot, good wine and drink list, wonderful desserts and reasonable prices combined to make a perfect repast with friends.

    Every time we have dinner at la Violetta there is something new and delicious on the menu . Last night was lightly smoked tuna carpaccio with dollops of burlata and parsley sauce on the side . Orata was outstanding and beef carpaccio and spaghetti with tiny little clams. Courteous and professional service ( Monika ) excellent drinks.
