We have been here many times in the past and it has become touch and go recently. First, we have felt rushed the last few times - food comes at a crazy pace even when we ask for a bit of time between appetizers and main. The pizza is always good but the caesar salad is way overdressed. My main issues are the noise (I sound like an old person but you can’t have a conversation at all), and the lighting - it is very dimly lit with solely red lighting so that the menu is barely legible. Not sure what that’s all about.

It was really nice. We were off in the side room. Vodka Pizza was amazing and the appetizers were great.

I love the food at La Volta but always have issues with the service. Last night my reservation was at 6:45 and they have a 15 min grace period. We arrived at 6:55, sat down and were immediately told that they are “sorry to tell us this” but they have another reservation at 8:15. They then came back 30 min later and told us again that we needed to be gone at 8:15. At 8:10 we paid the bill and they said again the other reservation is here so can we get up. They give no notice when booking that you only get 1.5 hours at the table and we felt rushed the whole time. They should spread out the reservations at least 2 hours.

This is may fav spot. A little on the pricey side but a fun going out restaurant so worth it!

Amazing pizza, salad, arancini and drinks. Service and vibes are top notch. Would definitely go back! Pro tip: get the spicy vodka pie

First off, I will say the pizza is really good. So will give them that. But, this place is trying really hard to be trendy and cool. It’s very loud in the place and there are red lights in the entire restaurant, which does look pretty, but makes it very hard to see. The font on the menu is suuuper tiny, and they have small candles on the table to see and that’s it! My friend got out her phone to use the light to read the menu and the host came over the ask her to turn her light off. Welp, can’t see anything! Another table was doing the same thing later in the evening and they didn’t get asked to turn their light off! We were there celebrating a birthday and we just felt like it was a very pretentious restaurant and not very warm and welcome. While the pizza was good, the vibes were not so I would not return.
