    Very weird that as we were served, we were told the kitchen would shut in five minutes. Not able to order coffee and dessert after dining as kitchen was closed.

    It took a full hour and a half to get our food. Everything took way too long and it was not crowded. The food was overpriced for how small and mediocre it was. A pitcher of margaritas was $70 and it was mostly ice (served 3 people). Some dishes were overdone, some were underdone, everything was under seasoned and under salted. The place itself is gorgeous, the staff is kind, and the ambience is great. However, for what we paid I would have expected more value and efficiency.

    Had a variety of small and medium plates. The small plates are 3-4 bite items. Favorite dish was the tomatillo salad. The cochinita pibil was passable as was the lamb gordita. Not really impressed by the food. The server was very nice though.

    We are at La Zebra on our last night in Tulum with friends and it was simply the best way to end our vacation. The water front vibe and open air was very welcoming. All the salads and entrees were fantastic. We tried the corn and tomato salad which were amazing and a very generous portion. The sea bass was so large that I could only eat half of it. But it was very well cooked and flavorful. The carne asada was also nicely done and was presented on an individual grill. We got a pitcher of margarita to share and it was very strong but tasty. The staff were attentive Enough while not hovering. Would highly recommend this place.

    I love everything about the place. The service, the food, the drinks, and the hospitality was all out of this world. I wish I could eat here everyday for the rest of my life
