Service was great, the low score was due to a number of dinner items missing off the paper menu. I had researched the menu online & made the reservation based on their offerings . Very disappointing, they need to update the website.

The restaurant has a great ocean view, but looks across the small resort swimming pool so that is a distraction. We waited longer than at most restaurants for the waiter to come by and take our drink orders. But then all went well. My martini was one of the best I’ve had in our four weeks on the island. The Mahi Mahi entree was excellent. Accompanied by a kimchi and Portuguese sausage fried rice, it was one of the best tasting dishes I’ve had. My wife’s garlic shrimp and noodles was delicious as well. The Hawaiian sweet roll appetizer was overpriced, but good.

Where to start… the decor. Looked like something straight from The Marvelous Mrs Maisel. If early 1960’s is your vibe, this is the place to be. Otherwise, could use a major re-do. The service. There were 2 waiters for the entire restaurant…they were both hustling, but the result for the diners was slow service. The food was surprisingly good. I had the beet/strawberry salad which seemed like an odd combination but worked very well ( the ‘burrata’ was actually just mozzarella, but was fine). Hubby had the mahi mahi and said it was ok. I had the ahi and it was prepared perfectly- I would definitely recommend the ahi.

Be careful with this place. We were ignored by the front reception desk for several minutes and several parties were seated before us even though they had arrived after us. We had a reservation. When seated, it took quite some time for a waiter to come by even though he and many other waiters walked right by our table. When he finally did stop by, we ordered a couple of drinks. He wanted to take our food order (even though it wasn't busy and there were many empty tables), and seemed put out when we only ordered drinks. It then too way too long for the drinks to be delivered (again, even though it wasn't busy). The drinks finally arrived and by then we had decided to go somewhere else. So I asked for the check. The waiter glared at me and then asked several times if we were staying at the hotel. I told him no, and I would be paying. He sort of stormed off and then muttered Aloha. This was a very bad experience for us; I won't be going back.

We had heard so much about this place opening and couldn't wait to try it. The menu was all over the place- no real theme. It was good but nothing really all together. Ambience by the pool/ocean is always nice but the service was very slow (food came out decently fast, however). Not sure we will return.

We were looking for a great new restaurant to try that overlooked the ocean In Kaanapali. Even though this restaurant doesn’t have many reviews, from start to finish was amazing. The staff were so attentive and friendly. Both Ford and Cara made us feel welcome. My husband had the pork chop and I had the mahi mahi fish dish. Both were exceptional. I highly recommend this restaurant. We will be back on our next trip.

We had a reservation but the hostess didn’t really understand it. The food order was placed wrong and mashed potatoes were cold
