New Years Eve at the Lakeside Seafood and Grill was great. Service was fantastic, the 4 course Surf and Turf dinner was very tasty. However, we were informed they were out of Creme Brule which was very disappointing given it was our preffered menu selection. Given the restaurant continues operations after the event, it would have been wise to stock up on creme brule! Otherwise dinner was great. The coordination with the afterparty was a bit disconnected as we had to get a bit vocal to get a table. They did accommodate finally so all ended well. Funky band at the party. Good atmosphere.

We are not from Collingwood. But have experienced staying at Living Water Resort which at that time experienced the Harbourside Restaurant and was great! But we enjoyed it so much we took the 2 hour drive in specifically for our new year's brunch. Well, they have yet to disappoint with the quality of food. The atmosphere is great with a fantastic view of the water, evening in the winter. The ambiance was quiet, just right for our family to enjoy the lovely meal prepared for us. But what took it over the top was our server, Austin (I hope I remembered correctly). He was fantastic! Welcoming, professional, extremely friendly. He knew the menu and answered any questions we had about the food. Was very attentive and made sure we were happy with the quality of the food, that our waters or beverages were refilled. No asking. He provided superb service. AND THAT, made our 2 hr drive there and 2 hr drive back, totally worthwhile. As a matter of fact, all the staff were very friendly and pleasant. I highly recommend experiencing Harbourside at least once. You won't be disappointed. We will definitely be returning again. :-)

Our family Christmas dinner was execellent. Family members choose the turkey and prime rib Christmas specials which included an appetizer and a dessert. All of the dishes were very tasty. The prime rib was extremely tender and flavourful. Our server Alex was very friendly and very efficient.throughout the entire meal......a special thank you to him. The restaurant is located in the Living Water Resort Collingwood so we had easy access. Very nicely decorated. Would highly recommend.

We enjoyed Christmas dinner . It was the best roast beef we have had in years! Tasty, perfectly cooked and tender as butter. We have been told it is available most Sunday nights and we will definitely return. The room was full and the energy level was high,, but service was excellent. A special request for thinly sliced beef was fulfilled without question. We brought home enough for another meal. A very happy dining experience. Excellent value for the money.

We enjoyed our meal but we had to leave before dessert when the girl started playing the electric piano. She was too loud, her music was more appropriate for a piano bar, not a Christmas brunch. Even the staff agreed her singing was terrible but there was nothing they could do as managemen hired her. I was also appalled at Lakeside Grill thinking it is acceptable for their entertainment to wear a sweatshirt, jeans and running shoes.

I had an exceptional dining experience. Our server, Mr. Alex, provided welcoming service and offered excellent food recommendations. The cuisine was superb. I highly recommend this seafood restaurant to anyone visiting Collingwood.
