Very impressed by menu and wine list. Disappointed though that cocktails were not available because there wasn't a bartender. And the kitchen needs to get its act together so that everyone in a party receives their entrees at the same time.

This was our second visit. Very good food, well prepared in a nice atmosphere. Not too casual, not too formal - like dining out should be.

The Instagram-famous Mother Khinkali was a little on the bland side, but everything else we tried was sensational, including the Georgian chacha brandy-based cocktails. The place was still pretty new when we visited and it seems like it's still getting its sea legs. But it's going to be tremendous, I suspect.

I rarely write reviews, but this place absolutely deserves the spotlight. From the moment we walked in, everything from the ambiance to the service was top-tier. But the real star? The cuisine. Every dish was bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and made with the kind of care you can taste. We tried several items on the menu, and not a single bite disappointed. The flavors were balanced and creative without being overdone classic foundations with a modern twist. You can tell the chef is passionate and truly understands how to elevate ingredients. Whether you’re a foodie or just someone who appreciates a fantastic meal, this place is a must-visit. It’s the kind of spot you think about long after the last bite.

My roommate and I had an absolutely outstanding experience at Laliko. Walking in, I was greeted by someone who only needed my first name and automatically knew my reservation time and party size (most places would refer to the tablet, this impressed me immediately). The server was warm, accomodating and inviting, answering all my questions and giving some fantastic recommendations. The meal overall was delicious and memorable, but my favorite parts were: -the Adjaruli khachapuri. I've heard for so long how good Georgian cheese boats are, and needed to see for myself. Now that I've tried it, Georgian cuisine will always be on the list of restaurants to look for. -Beef and pork khinkali. As a Chinese soup dumpling fan, imagine my excitement and surprise to see a plate of massive yet beautiful dumplings that you can hold like a lollipop and bite into arrive at the table. Tasty broth, delicious filling and tender dumpling skin makes for an unforgettable bite. -the wine. I've had Georgian wine in Brooklyn before and became a believer. There are alternatives for any mainstream wine you desire, but I definitely recommend going out of our lane and trying something native to Georgia. Personally, I'm a big fan of their "Amber" wine section. Try it and thank me later. There were so many other dishes on the menu I wanted to try but didn't have the space internally to order. I'll be back soon enough to try out Pork Mtsvadi, Kharcho, and Chaqapuli. See you soon, Laliko!
