   Lanai currently matches many recent reviews. Lack of proper staffing levels and a general apathy… NOT Island time vibes… makes Lanai one to skip. Better options surely exist on island. Assuming this one is open because of captive resort audience. Shame, a lovely view.

   Our reservation was confirmed multiple times. Upon arrival with 8 kids & 6 adults we were informed the restaurant is closed for renovation. *NOTE TO ALL* also, note to open table - this restaurant should be removed until confirmed there is food and tables to eat at.

   Regular restaurant seating is closed, had to sit at bar. Numerous menu items not available. Service was slow. Do not recommend this restaurant

   The view was amazing and food was great! The service was not great, unfortunately. We had to wait about a half hour to order and another 40 mins to get our food. But the views and food are worth it

   Beautiful setting overlooking the beach and ocean. Burgers, tacos and lobster mac'n cheese are delicious. Service is a bit slow, but everything is cooked to order, so worth it. Very pleasant service. About to close for renovations and reopen as Longboards.

   Some of our entrees were good, some were bland and just ok. Staff was friendly. Not much energy in this restaurant - not sure if they are getting much business. Looked like they are either remodeling or are going for a minimalist vibe as there wasn’t much in the walls, wall light fixtures were without lights, shelves were empty. Still a great setting.

    The sunset view was beautiful. Atmosphere was a “poolside” vibe, very casual. Slow and forgetful server. The manager/bartender? was attentive to help with drink options, as their shipment hadn’t arrived for what we ordered. Ordered the coconut chicken linguine. Had no flavor. Nothing special. A drink at the bar at sunset would have been sufficient. Have issues paying auto 20% tip on such sub par food and service.
