The cuisine at Langdon Hall starts with looking out our kitchen windows. It is inspired by the seasons, wild produce growing in abundance on the property and the bounty of our kitchen gardens. Relationships have been built with our community farmers, foragers and artisans who hold similar beliefs of providing wholesome natural products that have been prepared with care and respect.

We create dishes with purpose, embraced with a story behind each relationship and provide a taste of the terroir of Langdon Hall. All the ingredients combined, create an experience like no other, so grand, so captivating that it is impossible to forget. As the seasons change, the menu changes to reflect the reaps of the harvest.

Santa Claus is coming to town! Join us Sunday, December 15th in our Firshade Room for our annual Brunch with Santa. Enjoy delicious food and get your photo taken with Santa! Our buffet will feature local, fresh ingredients and will include seasonal salads, vegetables, roasted meats, decadent desserts and other favourites, with a special buffet for the kids. We will be printing photos with Santa onsite, giving you the opportunity to take this special memory home with you. Tickets are $135.00 + gratuities per adult and $62.50 + gratuities per child under the age of 10 years old. Children 3 years old and under are free. This is a ticketed event, paid in advance – no walk-ins. Please note, tickets are non-refundable, but are transferrable.

The Winter House will be open from December 21st to 28th, with the exception of the 25th. Reservations are not required, but strongly recommended to secure your spot. Lovely Afternoon Holiday Tea experience. Was a lovely surprise to receive a professional photo. We were in the room beside where the musician was playing. The volume level in our room was perfect. I do feel it would have been too loud in the room that the musician was in however.

Attended afternoon tea. I am a regular client of Langdon Hall and have certain expectations. The rooms were lack lustre. 1 tree n the main room- only about 5ft high so in pictures it got hidden. The other room had a single wreath on the wall. Not anywhere close to the main house experience. The presentation of the three tier plates was nice, but the actual effort to plate the food the way Langdon Hall usually does was not there/ in fact no plating at all. Put a sprig of parsley if nothing else. The scones were dry and two of the three of us had scones with a burnt bottom. The salmon sandwich made with the rolled crepe was soggy and unpleasant. The turkey had an odd taste. The cream puff squirt out all over the table where the filling had not properly set. Th gingerbread men were very hard. Overall, an unpleasant afternoon. Although service was great…. thankfully!!!!!

The food had good flavour. Unfortunately, the quality overall wasn't up to the usual standard at Langdon Hall. Our tea was weak and luke warm. The scones were cold and rock hard. The sandwiches were dried out as though they had been cut hours before and left sitting out. We were very disappointed.

Terrible, the sandwiches were made early that morning and the bread had dried out, non traditional tiny scones. Not a proper high tea at all… tiny folding table that felt unsteady, a lounge music electric guitarist? I have enjoyed several high teas in LH past that was exquisite… this event held in corporate and large events area away from the house did not give me the feeling of LH grace and beauty.

Langdon Hall never disappoints- the BBQ series was fantastic and while not cheap, it is essentially all you eat and drink so skip lunch!

This was a Father's Day BBQ. The food was tasty, but unfortunately, Langdon kept running out of food and, at one point, replaced a tasty item with a mediocre option. Given the price point—$150 per person plus alcohol—I had higher expectations. The service was very good, but the food was not up to their usual standards. But no one had to do the shopping, cooking, or clean up. I thank them for that.

The concept of a BBQ was terrific and having the outside space was even better. The atmosphere, the staff were 20/10!! We were disappointed with the desserts and the focaccia pizzas specifically. The dessert display was not appealing (specially the cookie decorations and the chocolate cake decorations)and everything from the cookies and cakes were heavy and the cheesecake was tart - I did not enjoy any of the options. Having fewer but lighter desserts such as homemade gelato, sorbet, ice cream with thin waffle cookie or some simple like a fruit tart or flan. The focaccia pizza wasn’t as good as it looked. Everything else was executed well. My family wants to comeback next year but it will be dependent on the new menu. Also thank you for the Dad’s gift bag, that was a nice touch.
