   Got there a little early, sat at the bar and ordered two Manhattans. Bartender for got the the vermouth and couldn't find the Luxardo cherries. He eventually got things right and it wasn't a big deal. We were not charged for those drinks. I think that decision was made by the lead bartender. Fixed menu for Valentines day. Ahi first course was excellent, second course a burrata green salad was fair, third course was undercooked. We sent it back. The entire stall was very gracious about it, we were probably tagged as the picky old folks. main entrées were "quite nice" in British parlance. One desert was good the other not so much. The environment, stylish diner. Not a $400 dinner experience.

   The staff was very good and helpful. Great location and FOOD, the chef Sherry accommodated all of our requests because of food allergies. The filets were top choice!

   Beautiful Christmas dining experience and great price for holiday buffet. Wonderful variety. The meats were over cooked but the seafood selections and variety of everything else was fantastic. Gorgeous setting and excellent staff. It was a special experience and I’d highly recommend

   It is my 2nd time here at Lantern’s Edge! First we went for a dinner, and I love, love the fig & brie; must try! I want to have a to-go for myself. 🤭 Octopus is so good as well! Must try the burrata!! 2nd time, we went to eat for brunch yesterday. They have a wide variety of food! If you are a seafood lover, you will love their brunch buffet!!! They have unlimited mimosas too; I don’t drink much, but I love their mimosas. I think they have brunch every weekend. But because it was Christmas, they opened a brunch buffet. Our server, Jiyan is very accommodating and keeps on checking us if we are comfortable, and if we need something. Definitely will comeback for Dinner!!!

   Great Christmas buffet brunch which included snow crab legs; shrimp cocktail, candied bacon (!), Christmas ham, prime rib, seafood paella and omelet station (among many others). Service was good (it is a buffet), and the view outstanding. Expensive, but delicious!

   Lanter's Edge has beautiful views, there is no disputing that. We were there for breakfast. Our table was dirty and at least one coffee mug had something stuck inside it. Being that our party ranged in age from 61 to 90, none of us had enough of an appetite to have either the regular or special brunch ($45 to $73 each.) We were given a limited menu to order off of and four of us had the eggs benedict - delicious!! One had the Monte Cristo and said it was also delicious. We all had coffee and found it to be much like they serve in the upstairs bar area - water with a hint of coffee taste. It was the same with the regular and decaf and would definitely skip it next time since $45 each, for a total bill of $220 (20% tip included whether the service was good or not), seemed a bit high for the quantity and quality. The restaurant is WAAAAAAYYYYY to noisy for our age range. Every one talking loud, doors opening and closing constantly (bringing in the cold air) and dishes clanking (or crashing to the ground at the table across from us.) Would probably choose a local restaurant next time. The in-room dining was very disappointing. The fish taco's were good, but the tomato bisque was way too salty (and no spoon to eat it with) and the kids chicken fingers were over cooked and over salted. Disappointed in the number of options for sure. We received the requested pitcher of ice water, however the glasses were too dirty to drink from. This is still such a beautiful hotel and the staff are all very nice. I have been staying here for at least 20 years and will stay there again without hesitation.

    Staff and food were great, however the live music was far too loud for such a small space. We originally had a a patio reservation for brunch but moved inside so we could hear each other. Our server was lovely about accommodating our apologetic ask, despite the restaurant being busy.
