   Food was delicious. Pricier on Valentine’s Day. Our waiter Chris was great! Candles and roses looked amazing. Hostess gave us attitude when we kindly asked for a different table when so many were open.

   Dinner was AMAZING as usual. Scott is our favorite waiter but this time we had Isabella and she was GREAT!!! Also, I had the BEST Dirty/Filthy Bombay Sapphire martini by the bartender Andrew! Such a wonderful, casual, and delicious Saturday night dinner.

   Always a great place for a great steak and also salmon. Usually a little bit loud but still a great experience

   Scott, our very special customer service server, was an amazing help and made the night. I had made reservation weeks in advanced to another restaurant and due to the fires wasn't able to go as they closed down. So when we arrived to the restaurant we were greeted by guest services who was kind enough to seat us and to wait for our other guest to arrive. We had a party of 6. At no point did we feel rushed to get out of the restaurant. I also have to say that the steaks that we ordered were super delicious and cooked to our specifications. Also if you have the opportunity to order the special New York Waygu to do it regardless of the price and get it cooked to medium rare. We are not sponsored or paid to eat there it is quite the opposite and we went there to celebrate my wife's birthday. This is probably our 4th time going there and I am always happy with the service the restaurant provides and gives. The level that the staff gives is 100% genuine and friendly. I would and will forever go back.

   We had read reviews that praised the wedge salad, so we started with that, having them hold the candied bacon and chop the salad for us. There were candied pecans that were so awfully sweet that I had to pick them out of the salad before I could eat it. My husband was not as bothered by them. Then we ordered the miso glazed Chilean sea bass over white rice with asparagus with a burre blanc. Again, the sauce was too sweet and had a swirl of a very very sweet balsamic running through it. My husband's fish was perfectly cooked, but mine, which had a thinner cut, was quite overdone. I could not eat the sauce for my fish and since it densely surrounded the rice, I only ate a bit of the center of that. For dessert we shared the restaurant specialty, which is a butter cake served with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. The ice ream and whipped cream were great, but the cake, which tasted like it was a cornmeal batter, was too sweet to eat. We each had a glass of chardonnay, which as passable. This dinner was to celebrate our 41st wedding anniversary. Larson's is the most upscale restaurant in our town, so we tried it. It did not feel special and the food was so much too sweet that we will not be returning. We will go back to leaving Simi Valley for special occasions, and for just a nice, lovely dining experience we will eat at Beto's, a wonderful Italian restaurant here in Simi, where the service is so lovely that they make every visit feel special.

    Great evening dinner to kick off NYE. Service and food was great. Happened to be in bar area (where we frequent) so noise a little above normal, but not overpowering. Always a great place to go: amazing managers on site!
