LaScala’s is a great location right on the river. The best time is when you can watch the crew training or even during a regatta. Everything on the menu is great. Our server Amber was excellent. She was attentive, kind, energetic and helpful. Deff recommend

We frequently visit this Lascala location and always enjoy friendly service, great food, and overall experience! When the weather gets nice, the outback deck is a wonderful experience as well!

The food was very good, but each plate is brought to the table as the kitchen finishes cooking it. So, three of us received their food and finished 80%+ of it prior to the others receiving their dishes. Due to how chilly it was outside; the restaurant was chilly, and the food was cooling quickly so had to be eaten when served. It was at least 15 minutes between the delivery of the first three meals and the delivery of the last two meals. If that is how they want to serve the food, fine, but at least try to get each meal ready within a few minutes of each other. Server was great and attentive, and the ambiance was nice.

Excellent ambiance with beautiful views of Cooper River. Excellent service plus the food was outstanding, traditional and flavorful! Highly recommend!!

Great service and good food. The portions are good size but a little pricey. Drinks are overpriced.

I would have given 5 stars across the board except for the handling of reservations. Had a reservation for 7:00 pm Saturday night. We arrived 10 minutes before 7 and were advised that it would be at least a 30 to 35 minute wait. I told one hostess that I wasn’t waiting that long for a reservation and started to leave. Another hostess reached out to us before walking out the door and tables were being cleared. We stayed and were seated by 7. Drinks, appetizers and dinner were excellent as was our server, Rebecca.
