   Last Best Brewery came as a recommendation during our first visit to the Calgary area and did not disappoint! Our wait staff was very quick to greet us and offer excellent information and advice on food and beverages. Last Best boasts an excellent variety of beers on tap and mixed drinks to satisfy our party’s tastes. I personally thought the amber lager was amazing! Food came out quickly from the kitchen, with hot and tasty appetizers, and the mains were cooked just as we asked. We definitely came in hungry and left full! What amazed me the most was how reasonable the prices were! Last Best has a great atmosphere and a variety of seating styles to suit many needs and party sizes. Finally, our biggest shout out goes to the wait staff who effectively worked as a team to serve our table, made us laugh with witty banter and make us feel very welcome to the city! Great job Last Best!! Can’t wait to visit the area again and enjoy another meal!

   This was about the 4th time I've been here. Hosted 4 clients with one of my managers and it was great. Food was excellent, beer and service also top notch. Great casual environment, and somewhere you can look really good as a host.

   One of our favourite places in the city, great food and drinks, amazing service. but it gets exceedingly loud in the evenings. Each booth has a speaker directly over it and it seems the louder the music, the louder everyone has to talk, so the music gets raised to compensate. This continues until everyone is just shouting at each other.

   We love this place. Such an enjoyable happy hour. The staff are always so friendly and provide excellent service. Their pizzas have changed from last year, but still an excellent value for happy hour $15/each.

   The GOOD: Great room. Warm enough. Comfortable. Open table booking worked great. Decent food portions. Good choice of beers, including hazy IPA. The BAD: Chicken Pizza was so heavily loaded with garlic that nobody at our table of 6 would eat a second piece. The Poutine was the worst ever encountered. We were hungry, but 75% of it was not eaten. The Nacho's were dry and the little cheese was so cooked that it wasn't melted but toasted. Chips were ok. The accompanying guacamole wa runny and weird. The Phyllis Cheese Steak sandwich didn't contain ANY cheese, or so little that we couldn't locate it inside the sandwich. The flavor of the sandwich was not as expected. 60% of the sandwich was not eaten. The food looks good but was overall VERY DISAPPOINTING (AKA terrible).

   I had a business lunch for 7 and they put a mandatory 20% gratuity on the bill. Then, handed me the machine and asked for more. This is overtly presumptuous and greedy. Likely wont eat here again. Food was good. Service was good, but not enough to bring me back.

    We booked a table of 4 on a Monday nigh. We were excited about trying different beers. That part was nice, the service was really good. However, the food was very disappointing. Also they were out of different items on the menu and the menu is already limited. None of us enjoyed our meals. I would maybe go back to taste different beers and gin but not to eat.
