   We just had one of the best meals in Cincinnati!! The Shrimp royale and gumbo are the best. And the cocktails are very creative and tasty. The wait staff was very attentive, anticipating the needs of our table. Thank you for talking with us and an amazing meal Chef Patrick!!

   Our server was OUTSTANDING. He knew the menu inside and out. He was attentive without being intrusive. One of the best we have ever had!

   From start to finish, Scotty made us welcomed and appreciated. We met Jason and Jake too, and they were great. The restaurant was busy for a Tuesday with a few large tables. We had the shrimp royale (11/10) and the short rib split, sub grits for mashed. Absolutely outstanding and a great recommendation. Prices are a bit high on some menu items in my opinion but portions make up for it. Would like to see classic cocktails on the menu as well, as we were unsure if we could only order "NOLA" style drinks or not. We certainly could and did order a few classics, as a hand grenade on a Tuesday isn't everyone's vibe. Martinis probably aren't either but here we are. Cincinnati Distilling spirits stack up just fine next to the big brands, and I think there should be more offers to showcase these great products. Absolutely gorgeous restaurant, fantastic food, one of the best server experiences of all time, and the manager (Jason) stopped over several times to check in. Keep climbing Laveau, see you soon.

   Wonderful food and ambiance! A bit hard to find but worth the trouble. Server was awesome but seemed to be spread thin as there were prolonged wait times between the end of the meal and dessert and getting the check. Long story short, we enjoyed it very much and will be back.

   Food was good and portions generous. Really liked the decor and atmosphere - it was refreshing to dine in a restaurant where reasonable noise level allowed our party to easily converse. One complaint is that food was not hot when it arrived at our table, which I assume was due to the slow service we experienced.

   Plus side...the drinks were fantastic and reasonably price. Negative side - both the crab cakes and the rice were noticeably undercooked, and about 45 minutes after eating I got sick and felt impressively better after whatever was disturbing my system got out. I am positive it wasn't a coincidence.

    This place is a hidden gem! If you like Cajun food, it is the best. Very authentic the fried green tomatoes were amazing. We had the Cajun sampler usually I find jambalaya dry, but this was not, gumbo was excellent watch out for the crawfish étouffée it’s good but super spicy
