   I love this restaurant and try to visit every time I’m in the area. The patio is beautiful and the food is always excellent. Last night we had a less than great experience with the front of house hosts. We had a 7:15 reservation and arrived a few minutes after 7:00. The host informed us that because we were early they couldn’t offer us a table on the patio just yet and that we could wait in the bar or be seated inside. We opted for having a drink in the bar and waiting for the table on the patio. One of the hosts insisted that we close out our bill in the bar before being seated… so we got our drinks and closed out in anticipation of being seated quickly. The host made several passes through the bar calling names of parties for their reservations. After 35 minutes I went up to the desk and asked when we would be seated.. she very rudely said “ we called your name and you didn’t answer.. “ No they did not and they knew we were in the bar. Then the other host said “ you need to close your tab”.. yes we did that 30 minutes ago. They never apologized and called someone to seat us. We were shoved behind a large table up against a wall….Our waitperson was lovely and very accommodating. Very poor customer communication at the front of house and extremely rude hosts.

   From start to finish a perfect evening. The outdoor area is beautiful and magical. The food was so delicious - I strongly suggest the chicken! My special margarita with guava was the best!! Its romantic and delightful and the perfect place for a romantic date or great celebration!!

   I’ve been wanting to go to this restaurant for a long time, but since we’re on the other side of the valley, I haven’t. There were four of us. We all felt the service was terrible. I think we sat there for 20 minutes before someone came over to ask if we wanted a drink. It was very crowded and maybe they were short of help. It’s a beautiful patio. I had pork chop and the rest had short ribs. We all felt the dinner was fair.

   Our evening at Lavender Bistro was fantastic. We started off with great cocktails - the Lavender Martini is a must to order. We passed around our main courses which were the Maine Lobster Ravioli, the Roasted Maple Leaf Duck and the Seaweed & Sesame Crusted Seared Ahi Tuna which stole the show. The ahi tuna simply melted in your mouth and the entire dish with its accompaniments was perfect. We finished by sharing the Callebaut Belgian Chocolate Mousse, Lila Belle's Homemade Butter Cake and the Fresh Baked Apple Tart with Frangipane. The patio with the lighted trees and live music playing set the scene for a lovely evening. Thank you.

   It was a beautiful evening. Our servers were wonderful. The restaurant is gorgeous and me and my husband enjoyed the entire evening.

   Four friends dined together at Lavender and we had such a great time. It is so nice to be outside on a warm evening under the twinkling lights. It was a busy evening but our waiter and the additional staff managed to be very attentive. Our entrees were really delicious. As a vegetarian, I ordered a side beat salad without the bacon and it was perfect. I like the atmosphere and the music which is live.

    Lavender Bistro is my favorite restaurant in the desert! We loved sharing this special, romantic spot with friends visiting. It quickly became their favorite too! I have nit had anything but a memorable experience each time I go here.
