   We’ve always been to the Montreal location, and Toronto is just as excellent ! Service was slow, had to call our server over when we were ready to order. When we asked for the bill, he brought it over, and then did a million other things while we had our card out and was ready to leave. He then sat down at the table behind us, brought bills to two other girls, billed them out and was pulling his phone out. We were annoyed at the end, but the food was amazing.

   It was our first time trying L'Avenue Toronto, having visited the Montreal location several times. We were excited to see how this location compared, and it was great to have a reservation system in place. Our server was absolutely amazing—truly one of the most kind and understanding people we've met. I was running late for brunch, yet they still accommodated us with a cozy corner table meant for five, allowing us to have a more private setting for our business discussion. This level of thoughtfulness is something you don’t see at many restaurants, and we really appreciated it. Overall, it was a great experience. While the energy and vibe felt different from Montreal—perhaps some adjustments to the music could help—it’s still a fantastic spot. There’s really no reason not to choose this restaurant!

   Lovely food, lively atmosphere, quite unfortunate service. Understandably busy granted the day (Valentine’s Day), but felt rather forgotten throughout.

   Food was really dry, overpriced and bland. French toast is more like stuffed toast without custardy texture. So many better brunch spots with equally unique ambiance.

   Fun casual atmosphere with a innovative menu. Service was excellence as they work as a team and we attentive but discrete. It will be a regular go-to spot for lunch
