Stacey Lawson and Paul Fields are not only delighted but thoroughly excited to announce the opening of their restaurant. Stacey and Paul sensed something was missing from the Lincoln dining experience. Paul had always had a passion to open up an independent restaurant and as a local girl Stacey recognised that although Lincoln is a historical City and a very dynamic and growing City, there was a clear need for a relaxed restaurant experience that combined history with modernity.

We had a lovely date night at Lawsons Bistro where we were early but that didn't matter. We had a nice quiet corner table and the service was attentive but not obtrusive. The food was excellent overall, but my pork belly could have been hotter. We had 3 courses, my partner had a glass of wine and I had a N/A bottle beer. I was expecting a bill of upwards of £80, but a 3 courses discount brought the bill down to £55...Stunning value. Looking forward to the next date night at Lawsons Bistro

Great service, great food, great environment, if you want a relaxed informal top drawer meal, this is the place for you.

We visit Lawsons fairly regularly but never been for the Lunch Menu.. Both of us had 3 courses and shared a good bottle of wine for less than £75.. We’ll be going more often on a Sunday afternoon..

The food was definitely the highlight. Delicious pork and lamb. The veg was quite a let down, over cooked and bland. The starters were lovely, we had the mushrooms and the chicken liver terrine. The service was ok, the waiters were not very well trained, they were bit over eager and we felt quite rushed. One in particular didn't make any eye contact and was not friendly. The ambience was ok, it was quite bright. Overall it was nice.

Lovely restaurant, nice atmosphere, great service and great food with quality ingredients. I have eaten here many times and have bookings for the near future

We visited Lawsons on Friday to celebrate my husbands birthday after many recommendations and were not disappointed. A good range of menu choices and excellent quality food. The service was fantastic and waiting staff were so good I can't single out one as they were all outstanding. I was expecting small portion sizes but I was wrong; they were generous and filling. Can't recommend Lawsons enough. A little gem in Lincoln. Thank you for a lovely lunch.

Food was ok. Only had fillet steak but this was nicely cooked .Be sure to ask for a table upstairs as the dining area downstairs has no atmosphere whatsoever.
