We had the sharing menu which offered a number of dips, hot and cold appetizers, main and dessert. Loads of food for our group and a perfect mix. Our server was lovely as well as the host. Very attentive and helpful. Only issue was that they were sold out of some of the wine we wanted but we understand that to be a supplier issue. Overall I would definitely return. And plan to try their Oakville location also!

INCREDIBLE food and service. The flavours of every dish we ordered from the dips, fatoush salads, to various meats and falafel, everything was exceptional! We spent the next 3 days talking about it! The service was also great! The ambience and esthetics of the restaurant is beautiful! Highly recommend

Josep and his team (Shan) were great. Food was out relatively quick. They constantly check up on you

This was my second time in laylak I’ve tried the oakville location and the service was actually better than Toronto location, the ambiance was nice but the service was slow and not satisfying. The food was mid and honestly a little bit disappointing. Staring with the trio dip we got hummus and baba ghanoush and muhammara with fresh bread they were delicious for main course we got kufta kabab with rice and fries on the side they were mid overall the kabab was bit spicy and the rice was cold and very mediocre. Also we were celebrating a birthday and we got cheesecake it was delicious but not complementary as expected.

I can see they are trying but just missing the mark on everything. Cocktails made by a junior bartender, food mediocre. The servers were all standing around watching people eat so it was very uncomfortable. We had kids with us and they did great with providing nice high chairs. With some work and training they could be great.
