Welcome to the Crossroads, where Kansas City comes together. An evening at Lazia begins at the hearth with a complimentary house amaro blend as the sound of hip hop's greatest legends fill the room. The menu is both familiar and surprising in its selection of Italian favorites. It offers a collection of Cicchetti and Antipasti to start your meal; an expertly prepared and seasonal selection of handmade, fresh pastas; a satisfying collection of Secondi; and few moments of surprise & delight!

Named for another Crossroads O.G. and pal of Pendergast, Johnny Lazia, our dinner-only restaurant sits at the Crossroads of Italian culinary inspiration and the farms and fields of the Heartland in the Midwest.

We are currently open 7 days a week from 5:00pm - 10:00pm
Valet Parking for Lazia guests is $9, but street parking is also available.

Lazia is happy to accommodate most dietary restrictions.

Absolutely wonderful experience, as always. We introduced our friends to Lazia after having spent our anniversary there and it made for unforgettable memories. Debbie, Stewie, Anna, and Abby are top of their game when it comes to service and making the stay nothing short of spectacular coziness. Thank you!

The food was really good and I’m reluctant to give only 4 stars, but there are a few things I found below par. We were informed that the portions are large and we should plan on a “family style” service, order several items and share. Okay, I’m good with that, but I asked the server if she would be helping us divide the dishes and got a rather weak response. With four people in our party I don’t understand why items come with only three portions to “share”. For example, the focaccia bread came out with just three pieces; the polpo was the same. I also had to ask several times for clean plates after the app service, the salad and, again, after the pasta. We never had the tablewear changed… same fork and knife for the entire meal. When the final item (the protein) was delivered I asked the server to please cut it into four portions. When he came back it was far from hot and the accompanying side features were a congealed mess. We were celebrating a birthday, but when we ordered a desert we had to insist that there be 4 Sweet potato Zeppo on the order, not the three that normally would have been served (and impossible to “share”.) Flavor-wise everything was tasty and my companions were very happy with the meal, but these (small) annoyances distracted from a really great experience

We try to combine our elevated cuisine with a more intimate style of service encouraging our guests to share items family style at the table. Outstanding as always - the cocktail bar outside of the restaurant has a great vibe and is a pleasant way to start the evening. We were greeted with a taste of house made Amaro. The manager was very informative (but not at all pushy, super cool) and helpful. The food was superb; wagyu carpaccio and the duck dish were particularly outstanding. This is probably the best restaurant we have been to in the metro. We will be back as soon as we can be. Book it - you’ll be glad you did!

Service was awful. Our server wasn’t around much at all, never asked if we enjoyed anything, and was not very helpful. Another server (male) was more helpful when he delivered our main courses. The ambience looks like a distressed WWII era European dining room that had been destroyed and not properly repaired. Lighting was bad and there was either no manager or it was the girl in a jacket who slipped into the hallway to check her phone but never came by to check on our table and see how terrible the service was. We spent over $400 for four of us and were happy with the food and upset about the overall experience. Many of the dishes were good to great, but some seemed completely off the mark. The Lasagna was awesome. Foccacia was very good. Ravioli was excellent. Agnolotti was very good. Arancino was great, but not ideal for four to share (again, service was nonexistent). I wanted to like it but I didn’t and I spent over $500 between an Uber, food, tax, & tip. It wasn’t worth it.
