   A beautiful place for amazing food and vibes. The staff is super attentive and the menu is extensive for a steakhouse.

   Everything we ordered was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. Our server Ana had attention to detail and she was able to execute our menu substitutions.

   We always enjoy our dining experience at LB Steak San Ramon. Bartender Tim makes excellent cocktails and is always welcoming and friendly as well as extremely knowledgeable after decades in his bar craft. Our head server Brett is always on top of everything - he knows his customers and is always there to address / answer questions, concerns and even things we didn't know he saw! Great guy and his excellent service adds to the restaurant visit. He knows his food and menu well - I wanted to order the Sakura Pork Chop, but recalled it was just slightly drier last time than when I first had it, and he knew already what my concern was. The kitchen had already made that correction in the past by sous vide-ing the chops with more liquid and that keeps them very juicy and tender and he was right! We enjoyed the chops, the boneless ribeye, and a lovely shrimp and crab louis. We also chose the lobster and pork belly macaroni and cheese which was tasty and rich, but for $24 more than the regular macaroni and cheese, we only had some tiny shreds of lobster and small 1/4" flakes of pork belly. Overall, another very happy experience at the LB!

   Pork chop was tender and nicely prepared. Salmon was tender and flavorful. Chicken was a bit dry and waffles a bit tough. Steak and eggs were good and cooked as requested. Great place to celebrate a birthday. Wait staff was helpful but not very familiar with the menu choices.

   I recently made a reservation for a birthday dinner, and unfortunately, the experience was a major letdown, effectively ruining the celebration. Despite making a special request prior to our reservation and confirming upon arrival, those requests were ignored. The service was inattentive, with staff who seemed indifferent to our needs. The food lacked flavor and did not meet the standards expected from a steakhouse. I had chosen what I believed were the best seats in the house, but they certainly weren’t. We suggested a table two down, only to be told it was reserved for a party that never arrived. By the time we finished, that table was still unused, which felt both pathetic and rude. Additionally, despite mentioning it was a birthday celebration, there was no acknowledgment of the occasion—no simple "Happy Birthday" to make the evening feel festive. Overall, this experience was disappointing and failed to create the celebratory atmosphere we had hoped for. I will not be returning to this location in the future.

   Last night was our 2nd visit to LB Steak and we were looking forward to our dinner here but was left disappointed. I ordered a rib eye rare and my boyfriend ordered a New York medium-rare. Somehow the plates got mixed up along with the sauces when they were brought out to us. The steaks' cuts even looked incorrect and when addressed to management and the kitchen they insisted we had the correct plates. Partway through we realized that the textures and the doneness were off, and when we compared the middles we confirmed we were eating the wrong steak and ended up switching plates. That fact that management and the kitchen couldn't visually tell the difference between a ribeye and New York was concerning. As a steakhouse, that's a pretty big miss. I will callout that our server was great, but the service rating is for management dismissing our concerns about the mix up. As for the food, the steak was just okay, and the knives provided needed sharpening. The New York had a fair amount of untrimmed fat (not talking about the standard fat cap) and silver skin left on it. All in all, we spent about $250 for okay steaks and a mix up that let us down and has us looking for another steakhouse (which is unfortunate because their bread pudding is incredible).

   The steak was good. The sea bass bites we ordered for appetizer did not taste right - would not order it again.
