    We have been going to Le Bistro on our anniversary for the 12 years we've lived in Tahoe. The food is always fresh, cooked to perfection with lovely touches and presentation. Service was excellent and the spacing between courses just right. The four course prix fixe menu is a good deal, although I am always a little too full afterwards. That didn't stop me from finishing the dessert plate, a sampling of four small delights, a chocolate truffle, creme brulee, lemon cookie and a chocolate raspberry cake. My wife's main course was the filet mignon and I had the scallops. They were both excellent.

    Large noisy party, impolite language, disrespectful to others, and not managed by staff. Food was fine but poor ambiance detracted.

    We absolutely love this. French hideaway. The food is delicious and it is a great restaurant with a romantic ambiance. Every time we come to Inline Village, we go at least twice. There is no other restaurant in the area that is like this special place

    My wife ordered fish - it was undercooked. The waiter asked if everything was OK. My wife said the fish was undercooked. He said nothing walked away quickly from the table never came back. He had a weird demeanor from that point forward. He simply could’ve just asked if we wanted to heat it up a little more then we recharged fully for the fish.

    Three of the four entrees were delicious and well prepared. Unfortunately, one of the four arrived at the table 15 minutes before the others and was cold before the others arrived. The waitress was rude (and not in a French-cool-rude kind of way) about the fact that the entree had been sent to the table much too early. A competent server would have seen how early it came to the table, checked with the kitchen, and offered a new/warm entree at the time the others were served. Once the other entrees arrived she said there was nothing she could do about the cold entree except to have the guest wait another 15-minutes for a new one. She was unpleasant and condescending. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

    This is such a wonderful place with fabulous food. The ambiance is warm and French and the lobster bisque is to die for. I’m never disappointed taking guests here, or being a guest. Três bon et Fantastique!

    I forgot to take photos but we have been coming here for years and we think the food is even better than before! Wow my son ate all my potato asparagus soup it was so good! I had the scallops wow they were in a creamy delicious sauce. Best scallops I have had in years!! My mother had the rack of lamb and said it was perfectly cooked and also delicious! Thank you we will Be back!

    First off thanks to David for offering up some advice for sightseeing in the local area. Then he cooks these dinners that settle very well. We enjoy a great dinner on travel and this was “top notch”. What are you waiting for? Make the reservation.
