Superb Gourmet Vietnamese dishes with a French twist. The ambience is as special and ideally suited to the fare! You’re transported to Old Colonial Vietnam complete with the tropical flavor of banana trees, rotating ceiling fans, a multitude of French lanterns, scattered tribal rugs and old black and white vintage photographs from the French Colonial era. We particularly enjoyed the sea bass and the green curry shrimp. The cocktails were all excellent!

My Birthday donner was memorable with great food and a nice mood. I totally recommend this place. The fusion of vietnamese food is just perfect!

The spicy chicken stir fry was outstanding. Definitely try the pomegranate ginger mocktail. The neighborhood is beautiful.

Amazing food and service. However, they weren’t sensitive and didn’t ask about food allergies. I am gluten free and was surprised that the Tofu on the stir-fry was fried. The waiter didn’t know what the tofu was coated/battered in. I definitely felt sick afterwards but thankfully it is not a serious allergy.

I have been to Le Colonial many times before tonight. I had two friends who have not been. The server did not introduce himself, or share anything about the menu or restaurant. He simply took orders and did not provide the value or service that I’ve received previously when dining here. The food was fine- typical. But the experience and lack of care about the table was evident. Not to mention we had closed out already and still had half full drinks when another bus person came and started cleaning our table. I’d understand the need to clean a table and pressure people out when it was busy it was far from busy tonight. It felt unnecessary and very unlike the experiences I’ve had previously. Pretty disappointing overall.
