Le Relais de Venise L’Entrecote is famous for its simple menu. Diners enjoy a green salad starter tossed with mustard vinaigrette and sprinkled with walnuts, with the restaurant’s signature steak frites main course to follow. The sauce which accompanies the steak has always remained a closely guarded secret and is a perfect accompaniment to the steak, which can be cooked blue, rare, medium or well done. The steak is brought to the diners in two stages (with one half held back to keep it warm) so it can be enjoyed at its best and is served with more freshly prepared frites, hand chipped on the premises. The menu (the salad and steak frites) has a fixed price of £24.

A small selection of hand-picked wines accompany the meal and there is a selection of cheeses and a dessert list with profiteroles, meringue and other ice cream confections, all freshly made on the premises.

Poor experience. Steak was flavourless Sauce was not anything special . Chips were the best thing Overpriced

Good God I love this place. The food is always brilliant and as we've not been for months it was even better than we remembered. Lovely service, excellent food and wine. What more could one want.

Best safe bet! You can't go wrong with this restaurant; you know what you're going to get and they always deliver good quality food and quite fast! Love it!

Well there is one thing on the menu. Steak and chips. But I can tell you it’s good quality steak and the chips are nice. Staff are nice and accommodating couldn’t fault the service. By no means is it “amazing” it’s just nice. Veggies and vegans beware unless all you want is chips.
