Food was incredible. Service wasn’t great. I think our server just had too much to do. We were seated for 30 minutes and had to ask for our server so that we could order. We were given small glasses of water, and they were never refilled. Those were our only drinks, so we didn’t have nearly enough to drink.

On this visit, a Tuesday, I enjoyed the half-price oyster offer with a full dozen. That was followed by the lamb shank. I requested a different accompaniment—pappardelle instead of orzo—and this was done, no problem. Delicious! As always, the experience was enjoyable. I went early in the evening to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. If you’re there late on Thursday through Saturday, you’re in for some raucous partying. So choose accordingly.

Went on Valentine’s Day and got stuck with an overpriced, uninteresting prix fix menu. Should have been warned by the restaurant when I made reservations. I felt like a “mark.” Food was mediocre.

Lefkes is one of my all time favorites. Food is amazing. I visited twice. Once for a birthday dinner and for valentines. Both menus were great. I highly recommend. Once dinner is over the party starts and the energy goes to 1000% with a sexy crowd and good music.
