   The crabcakes and mussels were delicious. The waiter was excellent- he was very attentive but did not rush us. We had a lovely experience

   Overall, the food was great and the service was excellent. However, your portion sizes are getting smaller and smaller. They clearly want you to order multiple courses to get your bill higher. I am a small person and I ordered a Greek salad with Cajun shrimp on top. I have ordered the same salad for years. The salad was great, but for $23 the salad is not worth it. I have ordered the same salad for years at Legal Seafoods all over the Boston area and it is 50 percent smaller than it used to be. The salad is no longer big enough to be considered an entree salad. The last time I went to Legal Seafood, I ordered the new Thai salad and again it was very small so I ordered a side of broccoli for $9 which was also small, so for $32 I had a small salad with 4 shrimp on it and a few steamed broccoli spears. There is no value in getting an entree salad here. I have been going to Legal Seafoods for over 40 years (since I was a small child) as we used to go to the original Legal Seafoods in Cambridge and this is disappointing as portion sizes have never been an issue here.

   My friend and I ordered the exact same thing and we both got sick. We both thought the food was over priced when we were there but knowing she didn’t well either certainly confirms Legals is not what it used to be.

   This is a very elegant location. Food is wonderful and the service excellent. Great to bring kids too as my son got a toy lobster, coloring activity and popcorn! I enjoyed my striped bass with pomegranate chutney. Highly recommend!

   The food was great! But it was the service and attentiveness by the entire staff that made our experience memorable. And our server Kaylia was fantastic!!!

    The lunch combo is a great idea and good value for money. I would suggest offering a combo alternative to French fries such as extra coleslaw or salad.
