   Our early dinners (5:30 pm on a Tuesday) were delicious. We shared a bowl of clam chowder, which our waitress split into two small bowls for us, my husband had the haddock dinner and a half salad, I had the crab cake and grilled shrimp dinner, and we got a slice of Boston cream pie to go. The only thing I would say is that my husband’s broccoli was steamed just long enough to brighten the green. It was quite crunchy. If you like it more cooked, I am sure you’d just need to ask beforehand.

   Always a great choice-anytime- even at 4:30 pm on Tuesday! Matthew, our server, was very good. He was very attentive and ensured we had a great experience. Salmon and Fisherman’s platter were excellent. My partner has several special requests-all we met successfully. We will certainly be back!

   Sean was an amazing server--- he was attentive, fun, pleasant and catered to our dinner. I would be happy for him to be our waiter again. Food was good as always--

   The night started off great when the server greater is warmly. Unfortunately, she was not very warm or attentive after the initial greeting - in fact - when she dropped off the check at the end of the night, she didn't even stop. She just kept walking dropped it on the table and kept walking My girlfriend of the stuffed lobster tails which were great  I had the salt and vinegar cod ... which k was place on top of my "crispy potatoes " which / with the sauce and slaw on top of the fish, were no longer crispy . Very disappointing overall

   We’ve been to this Legal on a few occasions and normally it’s pretty good. Tonight, however, was awful. The service was slow and waiter paid no attention to us (never once did he come ask if we needed another drink). Not only that, but the food was terrible. The shrimp tasted frozen/recently thawed and was chewy; the swordfish was overcooked; and the sea bass was rubbery. I don’t think we’ll be going back any time soon.

   As usual at Legal, the food was really good. I had tuna and my wife had the sea bass. We also had the calamari appetizer and enjoyed it. The rest of the experience, though, not so much. It started when I sat down in the booth we were seated at. The bench shook and the plastic divider between the booths rattled so badly that I was afraid it would fall down. My wife said the people in the other booth were startled as well. The beer I ordered was served in an old glass with the logo mostly worn off - certainly not important, but shows a certain lack of concern for the details. When my wife's fish was served, it was cold and uncooked inside. She sent it back and when they brought it back out, it was delicious. When my wife asked for additional hot water for her tea, the server forgot to bring it out. I can remember when, even on a weeknight, Legal would be quite busy, but there were more empty tables than full ones when we visited. Both my wife and I agree that we preferred the old menu - we really miss the mixed grill entree (with three different kinds of fish).

   Dear friends, Much gratitude to our very kind host for seating us on a linen-draped table with fresh flowers I had brought in earlier in the day. To our very attentive server Rafael R and especially to Sandra, manager on-duty at noon, for seeing that staff prepared our most memorable 40th wedding anniversary celebration from 6-7:30 pm. Nothing could be improved as this was the very best experience we had since we began coming to the Framingham venue since 1997.

   When they removed Lemon caper grey sole from their menu I lost interest. But when I was scouting out restaurants for my birthday I saw that it was mostly back and, therefore, so am I. Choose seared sole with lemon and crispy caper sauce. Coupled with whipped potatoes and broccoli it is lovely. Sole is tricky so I only trust Legal and myself to cook it right.
