   Took advantage of there once a year $1 cup and $2 bowl of chowder promotion. Our server was so kind and the chowder was amazing.

   We had an excellent waiter tonight! Also, the $1 cup / $2 bowl of chowder night was a huge hit... We'll definitely return for this event next year!

   Today was National Chowder Day, and Legal Sea Foods celebrated. Great value for the clam chowder, and their daily special lunch menu. We always enjoy eating at Legals on Long Wharf - the food is delicious, with generous servings. The service is great and atmosphere (especially mid day) is very relaxing. I highly recommend this location on the wharf.

   $56 for the lobster mac n cheese was a complete rip off. Maybe a half cup of cavatelli pasta and two small pieces of lobster. Served in a lobster shell. $56 should have yielded a nice bowl of good mac n cheese with chunks of lobster. Terrible value!!

   So unfortunate. Every time I go to Boston I go to Legal Seafood. I can’t believe how far it’s fallen in just a few short years. It used to be a nicer restaurant with good dishes and great service. From start to finish the experience was so unimpressive. The restaurant was dirty. I mean filthy. The highchair was sticky and had food all over it. They were literally out of SILVERWARE. We waited 30 minutes for silverware and had bread and butter with our hands. The service was meh. Just kind of totally fine being without silverware which makes me think it happens often. I asked for the high chair and it was made to seem like she really didn’t want to get one. Am I putting you out? I’m sorry. The aisles are very narrow, so I can understand not having a ton of room for servers to walk, but that’s not my fault and my baby has to sit somewhere. The location is right ACROSS from the aquarium. Bound to have many kiddos. The front desk was an absolutely mess. Not one person said hi to me. The drinks were disgusting. Very artificial tasting and I had some sort of reaction to one. Not high quality at all. The chowder? Not good. I remember it used to be amazing! The stuffed lobster tails were disgusting. I couldn’t even eat it. The flavor was so off. I really feel like I’m going to get sick from this visit. So appalled at how disgusting this place has gotten.

    It took a long time to get my drink. We found the food not to have good flavor, I was disappointed. I am a long-term fear of legal seafood and this was really blah. To pay $180 and not be satisfied was disappointing.
