WOW! this place is STUNNING!! every single detail of this place was thought out! We were promptly sat once we arrived for our reservation. Our SERVER!!!! I CAN'T RAVE about the level of customer service she provided! She explained everything on the menu IN DETAIL answered all our questions and request. She even told us how to take BETTER pictures!! The food was great we got the sample platter of the bread and sauces. Chicken kabob and steak kabob. My favorite was the steak the rest of the table loved the chicken. Rice serving was a decent size and well seasoned. We heard that the lamb one is amazing so now we have to go back. Drinks were good but definitely too much ice. I want to that Leila for an amazing ladies night out.

If I forget about the strange way their reservation system is set up where I have to get up at midnight to reserve a spot for 30 days from now, not sooner not later, I have to think hard to decide if it's worth a 2nd visit. I already have reserved time slots for New Years eve & Valentine's Day at other restaurants, but one can't do that at Leila. The decor & ambience was top notch Moroccan style. Some of the menu items were inspired by Persian dishes, but did not come close to other Persian restaurants as far as taste goes. Since we are of Iranian decent, we found the Persian names for their cocktails pretty cool. I think the biggest reason not to go back to Leila besides their mundane reservation system is the the cost of eating at Leila doesn't live up to the overall taste of their food. Our bill for 4 people came to over $300. We can go to any fine Persian/ Afghan restaurant in San Diego to have Koobideh & Joojeh kabob with the side dishes & would cost 1/2 of the bill at Leila.

We had such a lovely time! The food and atmosphere really made our evening special—it was just enchanting. Our waiter was fantastic! She took the time to go through the menu with us and gave great recommendations. Every dish she suggested was spot on, making our dining experience even more enjoyable, especially since we were a larger group.

Such a great time celebrating my anniversary with my husband. The ambiance is too cute and we loved the food! The drinks and service were also amazing

Great vibes and ambience. You feel that you left san diego into magical place. Food id delicious and prices were very reasonable.

The entire evening was fantastic. We arrived at our reservation time and was immediately seated. It was our first time here and loved sitting at one of the tent tables. The servers were knowledgeable, timely and very personable. We recommend coming here with at least 4 people as there are so many choices of great food. Can’t say enough good things about Leila.
